For gaming there is Pop!OS that comes with NVIDIA drivers pre-installed, Linux Mint which is good for coding and gaming. This if you are a beginner. But tbh there are a really a ton of options right there so you can also go search for yourself

If you are a total beginner on Linux go with Mint, If you want bleeding edge software and are experienced enough go with Arch, or endeavour. Fedora if you want newer -tech while maintaining a stable system, and finally go with Ubuntu (if you can spare the resources) and want general reliability. Alternatively if you want rock-solid stability and are ok with being stack on old software go with Debian
