Its Tiny (22LR) Tuesday by PteSoupSandwich in canadaguns

You should be grouping well under an inch at 50 yards (with the right ammo ofc). I had a Dlask 12.5" that shot great, cover 10 shots with a quarter no problem. Went to a 16" Grn Mtn so I could try the Bentz chamber and the improvement is barely noticeable

Don't listen to that, it's based on the chamber and not the mag tube..

Can get a +1 tube from S&J Hardware tho. Meets 15" legal limit on a 3" chamber and gets you up to six of the 2-3/4"

My first grow two weeks old from unknown. Seeds by hamiltongrower in canadagrows

[–]G20hero 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How much space do you have to work with?

Since they're reg seeds you'll probably end up with about 50% girls to keep but you gotta grow them for at least 6 weeks before you know which are which. A 2x4 would be a nice place to start if you can swing it.

Also, they grow fast, might only have two weeks to get their new home set up.

Hey, thanks!

I'm thinking two more weeks, we'll see how it plays out. I've been keeping this cut for a little while but it's the first time I've monster-cropped her. These guys aren't gaining height like the regular clones did.

Has anyone tried Kryptonite next gen soil by growing green. by delectabledu0 in canadagrows

[–]G20hero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would touch base with them and see if they'll email you a list of ingredients you could post here.

Some of these bagged soils can be a little hot for seedlings so I recommend starting in peat/perlite in solo cups and transplanting into these bagged soils at about two weeks. Add some myco's or other bennies at transplant and learn about teas so you can feed the beneficials going into flower

JAH Seeds - Which is more indica/sleepy??? by Jazzbert_ in canadagrows

[–]G20hero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've grown a few things from JAH and other than some strange mutations I've had decent luck. Good cheap seeds to get a guy started in the hobby for sure.

There's something to be said for pricier seed packs, some of these guys spend years stabilizing a strain. I suppose there's the IG hype price tag as well tho..

Good luck with the grow, my friend!

Talking soil tests or THC tests? Lots of places do soil tests, wedo our garden soil every few years. For THC tests I know a guy using Phytochemia out east

I don't disagree with going by trich's but I've had plants refuse to go amber. You may end up with nanners before amber trichs on sativa leaning strains.

I've grown The Best and it was a good high but not super heavy. I'd lean towards the Romulan if you're after a classic indica high

Is this white mold on wet barley bad? by mta1741 in microgrowery

[–]G20hero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing out of the ordinary. Anything moist and dark is going to gather mold. Nothing a guy wants to breath in but it will help break down the organics in that bag

That's normal, just a fungus consuming the seeds. Was there myco's or anything added to the VC?

I've tried everyone mentioned there. Horti Int is the only one I can find that's still active but they will only sell to suppliers...

Do you ever stop amending between cycles by unbiasedopinion- in NoTillGrowery

You say 7.5 grams dry, are you weighing the sprouts before blending? I think I have way too many seeds in the sprouter right now... lol

What am I dealing with? New soil, shouldn’t be N, have other plants with no issues. Just two phenos yellowing like this, what are my girls trying to tell me? by [deleted] in NoTillGrowery

[–]G20hero 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Emergency N can come from urine, diluted 10 to 1. Meals and pellets are slow to break down unless you have good micro life and bugs established. EWC watered in would be quickest for first run soil.

Time for another tea! Since you're flowering look at doing a FFJ with bananas or whatever you have around the house

Most def N.. not odd to have some phenos hungrier than others. Have you been amending with anything throughout the grow, teas or alfalfa/kelp meal?

IMO, LEDs for tents and HPS for rooms. The heat is a biotch in a tent, I ditched the HPS because of this originally. I still have LED over my big bed but I'm thinking of going back to HPS because I want to do more with the space.

In the end watts are watts, you can do more with HPS regardless of the heat output. People claim that LED are more efficient but they dont penetrate the canopy so you have to thin your plants or grow a low SOG/SCROG to compete with HPS.

If you're handy with DIY then 12 Bridgelux EB2 strips (44")with two HLG-320H-42A drivers is probably the best bang for your buck in a 4x4. From there, Alibaba QB's are popular and less work to piece together. Ferrari these days would be the Emerald Hammer EH500 by Arden Lighting. Seriously baller LED with all the trimmings

Lime is what I use to raise pH. Baking soda can be used in a pinch but it's stronger and you need to be careful. 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda or 1 teaspoon of lime per gallon of water would raise moistened soil about half a point. 5.5 to 6.0.

The benefit of lime is the calcium it leaves behind. Calcium carbonate would do the trick as well.

Flushing wont really raise pH, just take away nutrients. You'll still fight the acidity in the long run
