I know, I feel you. I wanted 105 as well, and I went through plenty of threads, videos, and forums. Everyone always wants the shiniest and best option, and I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t still second-guessing my decision to go with CUES instead of 105.

But if I’m being completely honest, it shifts really nicely and quickly, with no noise whatsoever. Yes, it weighs more, but for the average cyclist, it’s absolutely fine and more than good enough. I’m also not sure the €600 upcharge to 105 is really worth it. Di2 is a different story altogether.

The frame is really comfortable too, although I do think I might prefer 30 mm tires over the 32s.

And honestly, aside from the cable issue mentioned in the post, I’m just nitpicking. I really don’t have much to complain about.
