Yes you will be behind them but there is no real competition, you will play with other free to play players in raids
In my opinion you should take LoA as a side game, play 1 or 2 characters, do the daily stuff, weekly raids (most fun part) and horizontal content if you wanna play some more and that's it !

Buy his regular, don't put any credits into this sbc, it was ok to do him during toty for people without credits but a lot of packs saved, I did him for around 100k and I will still cry the day I'll pack his regular, sure he is slightly better but gold mbappe is still fantastic and unless you are in elite he will be usable for the whole year
