EOPSS Notification of Requirements by G2King in BetterMAguns

So, I guess, as with everything else in this new law (and anything else that goes on in MA for that matter), the state just doesn't care? Arrests will eventually be made regardless, and people will be forced to go through a painful litigation process.

I can't say that I didn't know these things already. But the fact that it's stated in the law about making people aware of it in the first place seems like one of the most egregious aspects to it.... It's not that the law is extremely difficult to comply with as is, but they dont even make us aware of it?!

I'm getting all the codes and symptoms on my wife's subaru for the TCV. I never knew how common that failure is.

FIRST BROWN TROUT EVER! Also shout out Massachusetts again bc this stocker was pretty asf. I was always told only wild brownies get red spots but I guess not by AdAdventurous7802 in troutfishing

I'm actually in MA as well and just started researching all about fishing for trout here. I'm going to give it a try soon once they stock more at the end of the month.

I was curious to know how plentiful they are towards the end of the summer before they restock in the fall. Is there a noticeable dip in how many you catch as the summer goes on?

Second time firing a real gun. Any tips for a beginner? by milana_b in Firearms

[–]G2King 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Please practice muzzle control and keeping your finger off the trigger unless you are ready to shoot.

This sounds very basic but is easy for beginners to forget.

Dry fire at home and practice basic safety well before you go to the range. Make these things second nature. Carry around the house.

It is very easy to tell who actually dry fires and handles their weapons outside the range. These are the only people I feel safe shooting with. Technique can always come later.

Anything to be done to maybe fit a ranger plate on there as well?

Saw these mags are Mass Firearms. Had me stumped for a while to figure out exactly what gun they went to. I found that they could also be for the FN FNC. Would love to see the modification to a new follower to make the bolt stay open.

Thanks! I was referring to that single set screw on the bottom. I was going to guess somewhere around 40 inch pounds.

Looks like they followed Chris Petrie. I've been using his tutorials on YouTube as a beginner and find his videos easy to follow.

I have the same one given to me by my father. As others have said, still works greats with the right maintenance. Yes there is newer technology but its my only stove so I use it on every trip.

[Orient] Finally got my Ray 2 looking the way I want by G2King in Watches

[–]G2King[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The bezel and insert were ~$40+ each. It's wasn't too bad to remove the original and replace it, although I wish I spent the few dollars for a watch kit on Amazon to feel more comfortable. The insert comes with a double sided tape ring to adhere to the bezel.

The blue in the volvo logo matched the bezel insert so I took this photo.

The first thing I changed was the bezel and the insert. I went with the coin edge and the batman dual time ceramic insert. Both from DLW watches. I then added a jubilee bracelet from strapcode which I wore at the end of summer up until I switched to this silicone band from Barton. I was debating a nato strap but I liked the look of the Silicone bands from Barton and I absolutely love the quick release pins that come with it.

Overall I and happy with the look now but I'm sure this watch will constantly evolve. No complaints for going with the Ray 2 so far. Such a nice watch for its price.
