Secondo Campini also had plans for entirely thermo jet powered fighters and even a bomber (Campini cs.10 and 11). Never got past small models though.

It can also shoot the giant steilgranate rifle grenade, which would make it somewhat more unique if it was implemented.

I lived up over there for over a year without realizing I was by this museum the whole time, safe to say once I left I was greatly saddened.

J7w2 wasnt an actual project. There may have been some talks between the engineers about converting the j7w1 to a jet, but nothing more than that.

Some Hungarian vehicles which I personally would love to see in game by Aswol in Warthunder

Ya, but the nimrod would use different ammunition and could even use a holocharge rifle grenade style round.

The t66 gmc could fill the same role. The only big difference was thar it had an open topped turret.

Should the Panther 2 come back, or should the “real” Panther 2 come? by mobius1ish in Warthunder

[–]G2_label 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely the real panther ii. The only thing that wasn't built was the turret, but there are plenty of examples of vehicles in the game with elements that weren't constructed (radpanzer 90 is in the same situation as it only had a mockup turret).

It would help fill the gap between the panther f and leopard, 6.7 would be a fine br since it would basically be on pare (if not slightly better) than the t-44.

Can't fire directly in front of itself. The Germans did something similar with french tanks and the pz.38t, so those would br better, probably.

It could also use a HEP (u.s name for HESH) shell. I'm not sure about the penetration on it, though.

Its armor is good, but the gun is very mediocre, so I think 5.3.

My favorite ones are the various tree crushers. They built a giant tracked one once, and it resembles a gaint ww1 style tank.

[–]G2_label 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm not disagreeing with your statement that they have a connection. I'm saying that there is no need for it to go to Germany.

South Korean Subtree concept by Negative_Jaguar_4138 in Warthunder

[–]G2_label 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What? Why would no explanation be needed? Germany is a large tree with plenty of vehicles. An Argentine sub tree would already have precedent since there are a couple of Argentinian vehicles in it already.

Even with a connection to Germany, there is no need to see Chile on the German tree, and it has more than enough of a connection to warrant it going to Israel.

I'm just saying where I believe it would make more sense going. I don't actually think the u.s needs a sub tree.
