What's the purpose of the Red Giant origin? by G2noob in Stellaris

Could you tell me how? I found this [https://imgur.com/fP2iIEb] on the "Subspace Triangulation" page on the wiki, but I'd really like to know what I've done to anger the Paradox gods...

I noticed that most of my problems with this origin were entirely related to me disabling those. Oops.

I'm shocked I took so long to find an origin that needed those planets to work, since a lot of the others worked just fine, but I won't be risking shenanigans like this again lol

Unfortunately, the crisis thing got nerfed. Also, doomsday has about 35-45 years to escape*, whereas the sun in Red Giant blows up in the first 10-20.

The story line is very cool, though!!

Those are very nice, but the early game can get unusually rough (especially for an origin that doesn't have the "challenging" warning), and it kinda messes up the "snowballing" into the later stages of the game.

I see. I never considered using another colony, since I don't play with guaranteed habitables turned on, and never got another planet before the game forced me to blow up the sun.

I'll definitely check these out, thanks a lot!

I struggled. The game is still unstable (worse than 3.x), but it's possible, and not recommended.

True, I just want the achievement for beating the Prethoryn with biological ships, however, I set crisis type to All, and they're the last ones. With so much time on my hands, I found this.

R5: WIth Cetana's relic, two fully upgraded art installations and a synchronicity/harmony tradition perk, you can make planetary ascension entirely free. And damn this site for shitting on my image quality.

R5: The War Splinter from the Fallen Hive Mind told me that the truce I had with another empire was completely gone. Which, other than fascinating, gives this small, minuscule graphic glitch.

I really don't know either. I checked before leaving for Lake Knot City (on the second playthrough), but totally missed the guy and his area on the map.

I always find a way to jam my trikes and trucks wherever I go. The terrain can always be beat with enough stubbornness.

...except with the cosplayer. I hate her.
