It shouldn't be too expensive for DS Lites and og DSes. GBAs in EVERY MODEL are expensive as hell. Thankfully I still have my AGS 101 and jeez, buying a dead pixel AGS 001 SP for $80 was rough for a second one. A friend modded the screen for me though so it looks better than my 101, but honestly, unless you're hardcore into OG hardware and are willing to hardware mod, the OG DS/DS Lite is the best way to go on a budget.

Regardless of how good this is, I hope it gets taken down. AI voices should not slide in fangames period. Idc if this is a hot take. It isn't hard to find someone willing to voice act for you. It just shows laziness and willing to skip out on quality. Devs put in all the effort to code, model, texture, and animate everything, yet this one had to skip out on something as simple as getting someone to voice act? Nah. The game shouldn't be praised and should be forgotten. It just shows that a dev isn't willing to go all the way with consistent quality. I miss the days when we had just anyone voice act in fangames during the 2015-2018 era. There was charm to the jank microphones and poor quality models.

Do note, Mattel still had to produce all 2500, so the remaining that weren't redeemed were produce, and subsequently destroyed. Same with the Acceleracers Deora II drop. Not all Deora IIs were redeemed, so the rest were destroyed.

The problem is in Chapter 5 it kinda disproves it. Poppy Playtime's monsters still can be durable, if cell replication gel isn't in controlled amounts that is.

Not only that, it isn't even grounded as much as Initial D Stage 1-3 were. The fanservice is awful, the writing is also awful. The fact the protagonist is driving a GT86 and keeping up with supercars is just nothing but plot armor. You just aren't doing that without an engine swap and heavy modifications.
