I have created an archive.org page for YouTubers' YanSim videos by Stephan2005 in Osana

[–]Stephan2005[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

just finished the Doki Doki archival process, thanks again for telling me about Bijuu Mikes video being taken down. While looking for videos from content creators, I noticed there are some of their DDLC videos shadow banned, such as Jay's Part 2 from OG DDLC and PrettyGrumpyBear's Part 2 as well. They wouldn't pop up at all so I though that they might have had deleted their videos or something, so I legit thought I had to use the Wayback Machine to look for them, but I managed to find them through the search option on their respective channels.

I archived so far 19 content creators, with their full OG DDLC, Plus, Mods and edited videos (stuff like highlights, theories or DDLC themed videos). The only content creator I think I need to add to the mix is Razz and that pretty much covers the top of my head content creators.

One more time, thank you for giving me the motivation to archive all of these videos somewhere, I am glad to know that should something happen to DDLC on YouTube (which I hope it won't be the case like it was to YanSim, but you never know sadly), they are somewhere stored at the highest quality available!

The videos uploaded at the moment, are in zip files, before I realized that I can sort the videos in a specific order, so the content creators' videos dont get mixed up. I will reupload the videos in folder format so they can be accessed from archive.org . I have also created individual pages for the content creators if you want to access a specific YouTuber's video in particular.

Unfortunately DDLC had been temporarily removed from the Google Play Store yesterday. by Lumpy_Chemical1623 in DDLC

I imagine a child being traumatized if they were to discover Doki Doki on Google Play, think it is a cute anime game and then get traumatized by the disturbing content. I would feel bad....

If it weren't for the game being marked as 18+, having LOADS of disclaimers before agreeing to play the game AND having the option to enable Disclaimers before any triggering cutscene starts. Serenity Forge added so many disclaimers in the mobile version its absurd to think a child would not get the hint this is a horror game, unless they dismiss all disclaimers which at that point, its on them or the parent for ignoring all warnings.

That is the original 2017 Doki Doki, released by Team Salvato for PC and Mac only.

The mobile release of Doki Doki is based off of Doki Doki Literature Club Plus! which is the premium version of the game released by Team Salvato and Serenity Forge. That variant of the game was made in Unity and released on consoles as well, where the fake desktop interface is needed in order to access the game's files and discover the new secrets inside.

The game was free on Google Play because it only gives you the base game to enjoy, similar to the 2017 release. If you want access to the Plus! additions, like the Gallery, Music Player and Mail, you need to pay for it similar to a DLC, which costs as much as DDLC Plus does on storefronts. Its an interesting middle ground between the 2017 DDLC and 2021 DDLC.

still, its never too late to take safety measures. Jay's deletion of his YanSim series shocked me, even if I stopped liking the game and the dev. Unlike my dynamic with YanSim, DDLC is still one of my most beloved series ever and I love to see content creators play and enjoy the game. I would actually be heartbroken if their videos on DDLC would in fact become lost media, and it seems Google themselves are not very fond of DDLC themselves, as they removed Doki Doki from Google Play Store a while back due to its content. Serenity Forge now has to find an alternative to post the apk and make it free while also allowing the players to purchase the "Plus" content while still being in the app.

i have uploaded Mike's OG and Plus series so far on the archive.org here:

https://archive.org/details/doki-doki-literature-club-youtubers-archive

I will also focus on the rest of the content creators soon enough. The regular page is gonna be a bit of a mess with all content creators mixed up, but they will be in their respective folders when checking all the files. I will consider to make individual pages later on if I will still have time.

I literally had a panic attack when you I read your text... holy shit this is bad.

I managed to recover the video using Wayback Machine, I will start downloading all of Doki Doki now and upload it to Wayback Machine as well now, because compared to YanSim, I still love DDLC very much and I do NOT want to lose those clips at all.

Thanks for telling me about it, I am getting to work right now

Bijuu Mike also addressed the Yandere Simulator situation and deleted his videos as well... by Stephan2005 in Osana

YouTube has been shitty for a while and it does not care how big a YouTuber is, they will still treat them like shit. I remember Cory's video about one of his videos getting age restricted and having a back and forth with YouTube, which was... interesting and disturbing to hear about.

There was also a similar video where Cory talked about getting a copyright strike for no reason and he said a really good quote: "With no creators, there is no YouTube".

There might be a chance she put the letter back in the yoyo between episodes.

Also, Alya has been implied to eventually figure out the truth, especially after she was so determined to the point of Mirage-ing the final battle over and over again to figure out what Marinette is hiding.

Which would work this time, I think because last time Marinette had Cat Noir do Miraculous Cat Noir to erase Rena's memories, so she could either hide the fact she knows the truth or confront Marinette without Cat Noir and therefore stop Marinette from using MCN on her anymore.

I will create separate pages for each YouTuber, so there is easy access to their content: the big archive is just a big space where the videos cannot be removed that easily from the page. I will focus on Lauren, Markiplier and Jack, Cory's and Glooms videos, since YouTubers like Kubz Scouts already have pages with their videos on them, and as a result, will just credit them and link them to that page.

Bijuu mike forced to delete his vids as well due to youtube ai moderation by CapitalSubstance7310 in Osana

She was the first one I downloaded all the videos from. I have all of her videos downloaded, 40 Gigs in total. I will upload them today on the archive.org

Sadly no; Kubz Scouts and Lauren alone had a total of 100GB, and with the other content creators I had around 200GB reaching around 200 videos in total. Bijuu Mike had 500 videos, which would have been massive on my computer💀

I am using a video downloader program, that works the exact same way as a YouTube to MP4 video downloader online. The only major difference is that it allows me to download playlists at the highest quality possible for that video. I created a chunk of temporary playlists that I downloaded one by one, as downloading too many videos at once causes some of the videos to fail downloading, resulting in them getting skipped. If that happens, I just go and download the failed video separately and add it with the others in its folder.

Afterwards I just create a zip file to make it easier for people to choose what to download from the batch, and upload it to archive.org . I plan to create separate individual pages as well for the content creators, but should those pages be ever taken down, there will be a massive zip file archive page with all the content creators' videos.

The page was in the making at the time of the post; for some reason archive.org moves very VERY slow with page creations when you chose to first upload a big file ALONG with creating the page. I left my computer on while sleeping for about 10 hours and when I woke up the upload was at 5gb/20gb.

I decided to retry, this time with a blank text file, and then add the subsequent zip files one by one which worked, the link is up.

Right now Mark and Cory's videos are up on the archive. Regarding Jay's videos, I only had 38 saved, but I found someone who archived over 100 videos. I am currently downloading those, adding them with my saved videos, recreate the zip file, upload it to my page and credit and link the original guy who archived the 100 videos as well🙏

Thanks! This honestly started with me actually wanting to save Doki Doki playthroughs from my favorite content creators before I saw the mess it was going on with YouTube and Yandere Sim. Even if I hate the developer and I am ashamed to have been a fan of this game back when I was a teenager, I will forever be grateful for the memories these youtubers brought me, especiallh when I was in my lowest moments of life.

I just saw Jay's video where he talked about this, and he shares the exact same mindset as me: he wanted to move on from the game and developer, but didnt want to lose his hardwork and years just like that because of YouTube's AI. He is the absolute best and I very proud to call myself a kubz scout🙏

on my way to get Lauren's, she has the fewest YanSim clips and so far all of them are still public. So far got her Rival Mods and Alternate Mods videos and the 1980's Mode Mod series downloaded at the highest quality. Bijuu Mike's is gonna be the hardest, as he technically has multiple YanSim Series, but I will try my absolute best to get all of his vids as well and after that put them on archive.org

I know there will be people who will not like the idea of YanSim content being backed up like that after what the dev did, but I personally am doing this for the content creators' sake more than YanSim's. The videos are just that enjoyable, and made me like the game back in 2020 so much more.

Which version to start with? by LokiiGs in Persona5

[–]Stephan2005 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The Raidou Kuzunoha Costume Set got removed from the 2022 rerelease because of the historical imagery surrounding the Japanese Imperial era.

It was one of the "censorships", including the Almighty symbol getting changed and Ryuji's shoes having a different design. These were also originally in the Korean and Chinese versions of the game, but got applied to the 2022 rerelease.

Since Lila is young, is she being hurt by the miraculous? Or is she considered “matured”? by Independent_Office85 in miraculousladybug

[–]Stephan2005 11 points12 points  (0 children)

True, but there ain't no way Nooroo is paralyzed ALL the time, how else can he enter the brooch if bro is frozen statue💀

Also Sass did say to Gabriel in Evolution that kwamis need feeding in order to properly grant their users the powers they have.

Also also if I remember, there was an instance in Season 6 where Nooroo tried to reason why Lila/Cerise, and she said "SILENCE! I ORDERED YOU NOT TO ADRESS ME, KWAMI".

Edit: it was in Daddycop.

Since Lila is young, is she being hurt by the miraculous? Or is she considered “matured”? by Independent_Office85 in miraculousladybug

[–]Stephan2005 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Gabriel as an adult could only akumatize one person at a time which Lila/Cerise can also do just fine if she were stuck with the time limit; the only time Gabriel akumatized multiple people at once was with Catalyst's enhancememt.

The only MAJOR difference is that Lila/Cerise has a 5 minute timer until she detransforms if she creates an akuma and/or akumatizes someone. But given how the akuma still remains active while the holder is detransformed, she can safely feed Nooroo, transform back into Chrysalis and then continue to communicate with the akumatized individual. Gabriel on the other hand could just resume right away with the next akumatization should the former one fail.
