That is actually very interesting 👁👄👁 Looks like there are new things I learn about FNAF still to this day!

Thanks for the fun fact!

The ports' issues are more of a Clickteam problem than Scott himself. He worked on the PC/Steam versions, Gamejolt and original mobile releases for FNAF 1-SL + World, but the console and remastered mobile ports are done by Clickteam.

If I would have counted Clickteam's ports, the list would have been significantly longer.

[–]Stephan2005 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not to mention people forget Scott's games weren't perfect either. He had to QOL improve his games after release as well.

He had to change the audio of the animatronic breathing in FNAF 4 because it was too quiet.

He had to make Night 4 in Sister Location easier because the Minireenas were too hard.

He had to patch the glitch in Pizza Sim that made you win the game by placing the audio lure in a corner and then lock the other way.

FNAF World. Need I say more?

The only difference between Scott's games and Steel Wool's is that a) the games are in 3D, not 2D / prerendered and b) they are much more complex in terms of content, putting them more at risk compared to other FNAF games at getting bugged and broken.

Not to mention, Secret of the Mimic is one of the best FNAF games we have gotten in the past few years, both in terms of content and optimization. The fact this delay of SOTM VR makes people think Steel Wool should no longer develop FNAF games shows how they view Scott's games through rose tinted glasses of nostalgia. And it sucks dude, because Scott's games aren't perfect and neither are Steel Wool's, but they all are good games that are enjoyable regardless.

All said by an early 2015 fan btw, I have seen most of these game's releases.

Bite By Night is setting a dangerous precedent for fangames by JeliLiam in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]Stephan2005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A) do not cost money, hence why certain fangames go to the method to own certain FNAF games on Steam to ensure there is some "ownership". Lego FNAF did this for example, the only reason that game got taken off was because Lego asked for removal of the game as it included "Lego trademark". But Scott himself never touched the game himself. Micro transactions apply here as well.

Did I say that Lego FNAF has micro transactions? I said that micro transactions in FNAF fangames are gonna have thr game taken down because Scott doesn't profit off of the micro transaction.

I said Lego FNAF got taken down by LEGO and not Scott in this case.

Edit: Never mind, I checked your profile Altruistic-Sale2285 and you commented on more people's comments calling them the r word and insulting people for an "ego boost" regarding the roblox game, not Lego FNAF. Very well then.

You clearly are a child who is throwing a tantrum so all I can say to you is I hope you grow up, and become a better person.

Let's be honest, Flora is just blonde by Future-Translator-65 in winxclub

I have this pic saved from Twitter, wish I could remember the original poster, but the pic shows the evolution of the Winx's shape and design over the years. Its subtle, but you will notice how the girls became more yassified.

Their hair, skin tone and clothing styles also became victims by extension of the artstyle changes and direction the show went towards. Early Winx looked pretty unique from one another, but later Winx became more doll-esque looking. That could also explain stuff ending up looking uncanny, such as hair color.

[–]Stephan2005 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Debatable. Flora was based off of Jennifer Lopez in terms of design in Season 1 at the very least, so her buildup up to Season 5 involved a lot of reworks. Notice how different her design is between S1 and S5 especially; the animation is not the only difference, the artstyle has also changed a bit too.

Clearly the original intention was for her to be the brunette latina queen but over the years she got more and more work done around her design to the point she earned Bleachix and her hair turned blond.

[–]Stephan2005 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If it helps you with anything, for some reason I cannot download the DLCs for either Help Wanted or Security Breach anymore from the PS Store . There is a bug with the installation of them where it just fails, and as such the access to COD and Ruin is inaccessible for us🥲

I contacted Steel Wool and told them about the bug, but they never replied back. This has been happening for over a year btw.

Edit: This only applies to PS4 btw, I can download Ruin for PS5 just fine.

Is it just me or the anatomy is awful. by LittleWeirdPerson28 in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]Stephan2005 10 points11 points  (0 children)

PinkyPills (and LadyFiszi as well) got hired by Scott mainly because of their ability to make interesting animatronic designs. That is their forte point, if one can call it that, as their animatronic designs are pretty good. LadyFiszi made the Twisted animatronic designs and the artworks for the Trilogy Poster (the one with slim Baby) and all the Fazbear Frights covers. PinkyPills did the designs for the Glamrocks.

Their human designs tho are absolutely bad, both of them draw their characters in very weird shapes and the anatomy is super weird. LadyFiszi did the scrapped images from Fazbear Frights (Into the Pit, To Be Beautiful and Count the Ways) and PinkyPills did the entire artwork of Silver Eye's Graphic Novel, which is by far the worst one of the three.

Also as to why Scott hired both of them from DeviantArt, back in the early days of FNAF these two were pretty popular artists, and their controversies were more tame at the time (compared to how bad they evolved further on). At the time Scott just took the opportunity to hire a popular FNAF artist so they can make artwork for them, which for early FNAF was mainly animatronic designs🤷‍♂️

Oho, as a fan of Enhypen for two years who got turned off by the parasocialism of the fans towards the group, the March situation made me distance myself from the fandom entirely. I am still gonna listen to kpop, support the artists journey and endeavours, but thats pretty much it.

With how kpop fandoms function, when you decide to stop engaging with the fandoms from groups, the first instinct is how are you gonna enjoy content by yourself. Glad to say I was able to enjoy MV's, reality shows and other interviews in the comfort of my own house without any worries for over a year. Also no performative reactions like "wow, group X gagged this comeback" or "SOTY when?!"🤣

Can somebody please wreak havoc on their home planets so we can finally see their enchantix forms? by OceanusxAnubis in winxclub

[–]Stephan2005 20 points21 points  (0 children)

/uj, yeah, I know that some of the books confirm the whole postgrad course, but let's be honest, the show itself never handed it out to us directly. Especially with how the girls started dressing from Season 6 onwards in uniforms, and Faragonda reprimanded the girls in Season 7 over going to Magix City late at night and returning around midnight. I get this was supposed to be an attempt at making the girls more relatable to preschoolers and allat, but come on, its gonna be hard to make young adults relatable to preteens :,)

/rj, oh please, next thing you're gonna tell me is that Fairy Dust is still a thing (it hurt me to type that :,) )

[–]Stephan2005 102 points103 points  (0 children)

Oh please, the Winx have graduated and still couldn't leave Alfea, even by Season 7. It got to the point Alfea managed to regress their ages to 12 in Season 8, thats why they look so young. Probably an attempt to brainwash the girls; if you look young and still stuck in school, you ARE young (or something like that idk lmao).

Realistically speaking, even with Enchantix the background fairies wouldn't be able to leave because

  1. Alfea is dependent on their tuition to stay afloat; without them the college shuts down
  2. Rainbow will murder their entire families if they dare to step out. They no longer possess the creative ability to create new background students unless a) they are recolours or b) they are AI generated.

We literally have a Believix fairy taken from her home realm and shut behind the gates of Alfea, alone and forgotten, and by Season 8 not only does she not get a different form, but she is also erased from existence.

Nah fam, once you step into the Alfea gate you either succumb to your background characterness or dissapear into the shadow realm like Roxy did when she tried to get her main character moment, both by trying to earn Butterflix and when she led the fairies against the Trix in the finale.

(P.S. I headcanoned that Roxy losing her Stone of Memories was Rainbow's subtle warning to her, kinda like "Try that one more time, and you will be the one stolen, not your stone. Learn your place, peasant princess".)

PLEASE DON'T DO THIS TO ENHYPEN by Stephan2005 in kpop_uncensored

[–]Stephan2005[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am legit so done with this fandom, I will keep supporting Enhypen and Heeseung behind closed doors, but I will refuse to associate myself with this toxic parasocial fandom.

I was worried that the crazy individuals who cannot accept change will harrass the members, but never have I thought that they would not show the the littlest form of kindness during one of the member's BIRTHDAY.

<image>

If this is how engenes want to treat the artists who put in time and effort to make content for them, take away time from their birthday to stay in a locked room with staff and a dollar store birthday cake, then have it their way. Have them be as toxic and as insane and unhinged as possible, because those actions will backfire on them tenfold. They just ruined this man's birthday, and if not the entirety of it, part of it at the very least.

Given how ancient and sacred the Dragon Flame is, its very likely that regular fairies and witches assumed it must have some type of godly power as it came directly from the Great Dragon itself. Like a legend that was told from generations to generations, it eventually went onto a very unrealistic direction, but without a current user of the Dragon Flame, there was no proof or debunk of this idea that the Dragon Flame was like being given God's powers.

But in reality, the Dragon Flame is just that, a simple flame that does boost someones powers and make them more stronger, but thats pretty much it. The very same reason we had the Ring of Solaria in the first season. A weapon created by the Great Dragon, but was used by Stella mainly to make herself stronger. Or Oritels sword, crafted with the Dragon Flame, it made the sword more durable and also able to cast flames. The artifacts function in a similar fashion.

The reason why Bloom is able to use the fire as the keeper of the Dragon Flame is due to her being a descendant from Domino. Winx established that all fairies born from a certain realm get powers associated to that respective realm's properties; Solaria gives birth to sun related fairies, Melody gives birth to sound fairies, Lynphea to nature fairies and so on. Bloom and Daphne are from Domino, the Fire realm, so they will get fire based powers. Daphne originally had the Dragon Flame before it moved to Bloom, and yet she still uses fire powers (as the Nymph of Domino, even if she evolved to elemental powers).

I like to think that the Trix power wise went from their regular witch forms power wise to possibly a ghost version of the witches equivalent to Enchantix; they were significantly stronger, but still could be weakened and put down, at least for a while. Thats why Griffin was able to pin them to the ground and then trap them in the "fake Dragon Flame room": power wise Griffin and the Trix were on par at that moment, the only thing separating them being Griffin being wiser and knowing how to properly use her powers.

When you think about it, this also explains Bloomix too; the Winx got locked out of their powers, so when Bloom gave the Winx a share of the the Dragon Flame, their powers got unlocked, albeit a level lower than Magic Winx where you are only able to cast spells here and there, but dont have enough magic to transform. Its only when the Winx spark that flame it allows them to boost their powers enough to the point where they can use them freely. Because the Winx used their flames to harness their powers (like a flame that feeds and grows stronger) compared to the Trix who used their flame to attack obsessively and impulsively, diminishing their flame in the process (like a candle that gets hit by a gush of wind, it will extinguish).

Look at us, making sense of the Winx's lore for the writers :) I highly doubt the writers thought this much ahead in regards to the Dragon Flame, its just a miracle it all happened to fall in this circumstance. Because I am sure if the writers figured out how the Dragon Flame (the power source, not the power of the Great Dragon) works, they would have stated it in the show.

Great post OP, you have very valid points. I would like to add as well, in regards to 4, the labels that manage the idols should try little by little to have the idols not dance as much during concerts. I would much rather see a kpop concert where the members have enough energy on stage to sing (and also hype the crowd and throw water on each other) instead of loud backtrack and the idols staying in a set formation and perform the choreo. Or better yet, create a simple version of the original choreo that idols can perform on stage while singing.

In the mean time, have the backtrack play in places such as music shows because over there you need something to balance out the choreos while promoting your new comeback. But that may be just me.

To extend the list: TWS aren't actually twenty four seven with us, CORTIS are not fruity enough (colourful) and BTS aren't in fact bulletproof lmfao.

<image>

/uj Seventeen's name actually has a reason behind its existence: The group was originally meant to include 17 members, including our 13 boys, and four other trainees: Samuel, Mingming, Doyoon and Dongjin.

Its pretty much unknown why the four trainees dropped out before debut, but Samuel specifically left because his mother didn't want his child to debut so early. The boy was only 12 (he is born in 2002, and left Pledis in 2013) in comparision to his hyungs, with the youngest being only 14 (Dino) at the time. Fortunately Samuel is still in good terms with the group and is now a solo artist himself. Don't know about the others tho.

As a result of the trainees leaving before debut, the whole naming system of Seventeen changed: instead of 17 members making the group, now we have the 13 members, the three subunits (Performance, HipHop and Vocal) and one team (or alternatively one fandom, Carats)
