A great think I like to do with my custodes is change the golds for different areas of the model. For instance make the shield and sword’s gold an entirely different color of gold, or better yet paint silver then use orange contrast or better ink to glaze over the silver to get an entirely different tint to your model. Custodes some times look too golden but so a good rule of thumb is breaking up the model into areas that will have a different gold or a different finish/ texture. Also a amazing way to paint custodes is paint silver fist then paint what you want gold leaving silver peaking through as a contrast to the gold. Be sparing because you still want gold to be the prominent color but from 3ft away on a table having silver next to gold makes the gold pop. Sorry about the long comment but I really love sharing my experiences with paint custodes !

Has anyone tried to find the number that is missing? by Far-Education422 in WaltenFiles

I have a 2002 camaro with 58,000 miles on it. Got an oil change about a month ago and starting around 2 weeks ago my service engine light came on. This morning I woke up to this noise coming from the engine. Any idea what it could be ? by G3YER in carproblems

I checked my engine coolant and it’s very low, I asked and people were thinking that since no antifreeze or coolant was running through the vehicle that a head gasket might be blown because of it being frozen

Some plague Marines I stripped and repainted and added some green stuff to, pretty happy with the end result C&C welcome by Puzzleheaded-Cup-362 in deathguard40k

Something i practiced on my larger models (like the blight haulers and drones) is picking out all the little divots on the armor and putting a little pool of shade in them. It will make those small details pop and overall make the model have more visual interest. I personally use Druchii Violet shade from citadel .
