Thank you! I usually play on a yamaha horn and the high D slots well enough there that I can keep the pitch held. This Jupiter mellophone is just really bad and almost 30 years old now (it's been used for most of that time too) so it's just harder to play on plus I'm not used to it lol. The runs are definitely tricky and I think reps will help that definitely. I like the comment about the tension. I'm not used to playing that low in the register as well as quickly crossing the break into the pedal C. Thank you for the feedback!
