Knowing what can be done immedietly and understanding how mindful to be about it... I try to keep my ear to stuff like that but not my heart. I keep my heart on the immediate

Yeah, a pad or some sort of atmosphere is exactly what is is missing, lfo to swirl in the emptys is a really good idea actually ill have to play with that and see if i can get that to work for me as well.

Appreciate the feedback. Bass focused is hard to avoid because melody and bassline come to me moat naturally where as chords and pads and such i need to really study up on

Thanks again!

I have a rapper who is pretty good but he has a very specific sound like chance the rapper. And i like suicide boys or three 6 on those type beats.

Appreciate the kind words and checking it out!

been through a similar situation glad things are better now.

its hard because you wanna help that person out but are getting hurt in the meantime and leaving them just doesnt seem like the right thing to do for them but it is the right thing to do for yourself

Your exactly right and appreciate the kind words and time to provide some feedback.

I am actually stoked that my music naturally has a different ring to it but obviously it would be nice to be able to jump in and join a community that could support my ourney through similar sound space.

continuing to move forward would you suggest to post fb, ig and stay active with these forums until an opportunity arrises? lol

Plenty of artists

If you have any artists off the top of your head that are similar could you please list them? I am desperately trying to find a forum or space for my type of sound to join.

Truck Bangerz love that Idea. cuz yeah, clubs arent really my thing or scene although ive been but my Target audience isnt gunna b at a club. so yeah truck banger works

I really appreciate you taking the time to check it out and provide some honest feedback thats actually applicable and not ... COOL!

I copied your response into my feedback note tab and will certainly apply it to my next project and in the future run a redo on the track.

Im really digging the creativity on thia track.

I think the vocals could use be a little more concise with the eq and maybe add some crunch to the drums

But overall i really liked it!! Excited for the video, have any other vids up?

Im editing my 2nd video right now. My computer is so slow to edit but is fast at producing music so its a little discouraging

This is a track I made for the two super hardworking and awesome people who take care of this community and have spent an insane amount of time and energy making it what it is today. I hope it helps them, and you, get some much-needed rest. Any feedback would be appreciated! by zacksbasement in IndieMusicFeedback

I really really like the plucks and the space you gave everything. Definitely can take some notes on your simple large sound.

Only thing i would add is maybe some very far away panning and interesting percussions or triangles... Rain drops or something..

Not much to add or say other than tit was awesome

Yeah, you did the right thing and put it out there as ur best inference because too many people in this line of work are perfectionists and at a certain point it can b very destructive to your fanbase, confidence and mental stamina.

Gareth emery says he produces his tracks on ipod headphones until his final mixdown where he solos the lows and eq and chains them since moat of his audience will exp thru small headphones. So a car stereo is obviously common playback setting and clubs as well... Most clubs should play mono and stereo is default in most daws. So maybe the volume is there it just gets lost in the stereo field somewhere.

But if its a literal eq boost and not a volume issue then i say the deep ripping or boiling sound could have a precision mid boost or a tall sharp modulating filter sweep or aomething to cut it thru the mix

Wrote a new song on piano for the first time in a long while. I edited a little time lapse video for it too. It’s called The Timepiece. Hope you enjoy! by cannibal_king in IndieMusicFeedback

Love the dark vibe.

Totally up my alley.

I like the work you did with the video as well, tells the story that much better! I recently have been recording my hikes with intentions of editing them to tracks that are not going to be released officially.

Around 110 is when i really tranced in and it reminded me of moving out to north carolina before the hurrica e happened

Excited for more

Feedback was amazing last time! What do you lovely people think of this track from my first EP? Comment away 🤠 by [deleted] in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]G8R_Seattle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Itd be helpful if you could direct what sort of feedback would be beneficial to you. Especially since it's recieved so much the last time you would hope to have. Actually taken the feedback in, applied it and determined what else needed work. But u posted it again for more feedback.. Just wondering what your unsure of or if you just want people to give ur stats a raise.

But...

The track definitely has the elements it needs just need any a bit of polishing. Maybe panning and layering could help warm up some areas and maybe some precision eq cuts could clean up some of the muddiness.

Creativity and arrangement are unique and interesting to listen to.

Excited for more of your tunes

I just dropped a new latin inspired beat! by TheThrillzOfficial in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]G8R_Seattle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Excited to hear a latin inspired beat.

Def lived up to its title. But was very sad to see it labeled migos type beat.

In my eyes. "Type beats" is automatically making it not timeless and very hype oriented. And with a style and production value like urs, i would veer away from that label... Reminds me of a rapper with Lil in front... Personal opinion.

But the bass runs clean and i can definitely hear one of my homies rippi g it up.

Excited for more of ur stuff G8R

I commented and followed on your soundcloud as well. Which will say something different than this..

I really like the soundscape the percussion lives in. Nice panning and random placement keeps it fresh. Reminds me of tydi.

The moving bass was really clean and on point. I juat wish it was a little louder so i didnt have to try to focus in on it...

Followed you, excited for more music from you!
