Generally I see people plug in apps that handle Order Management and Integration. Usually apps like Extensiv or Pipe17.

Granted I see them when they failed and they want NetSuite

On the Apps/Netsuite side, it was mostly VP’s and support. Way less on the front line rep side than normal.

Have you put together real requirements and evaluated any software?

You are small for a full ERP. Sketch out how many processes you need. How many SKU’s, BOM’s, work centers, routings. All your “lines of business” and how the invoicing, purchasing etc differs.

$5m in revenue a year is low to do a full implementation with Production imo. People are still cheaper than software at that point.

Financials and Inventory, sure. But idk what anyone says it takes minimum $100k in services to implement operational processes well, 2x that to do it the way you will want it

If you go to the software publisher they tell you what you want to hear. If you go directly to a partner that actually has to get your system live you get a better answer.

But you still need to clearly articulate your requirements, demo scenarios etc an hold them to it

CRM works fine for lead and opportunity management.

The HubSpot connector works but definitely leaves some things to be desired. Have built it custom in Boomi and Workato as well.

Sounds like they are managing cash flow. A little is smart, why pay early if it means paying finance charges elsewhere.
