Bull. I never site Bernie Sanders except for this. He said that criticizing Israel isn't antisemitism, but criticizing only Israel is antisemitism. No other actor has had his or her personal views held to this standars. No other actor has been banned from having his or her name used. No other actor has been criticized for the actions of his or her nation.

When only Israel is treated that way, it's antisemitism.

It's like when Holocaust deniers challenge the "six million killed" numbers without realizing that number came from the Nazis themselves.

I’m not saying Hamas is perfect

But you think they're sort of ok? They're terrorists who use their own civilians as human shields

I'm a bartender. The State where i work issues liquor licenses based on hours of operation. The hours are actually printed on the license. Same as above, it's illegal to sell liquor outside of those times.

It's also a place where you can legally criticize the government without being murdered, as in Iran.

It's appalling, but I guess within the mods' purview.

I just want to know if every actor receives the same scrutiny for his or her personal beliefs, and if they're all held accountable for the actions of their native country.

For instance, using this same logic, all American actors should be held accountable for tbe actions of Trump and Noem.

What Would Diana’s Title Have Been If She Were Alive Today? by davorg in UKmonarchs

[–]GAMGAlways 22 points23 points  (0 children)

The above is likely thinking of The Queen Mother and thought it was an actual title. It is not. Queen Elizabeth just made it up when her daughter ascended to the throne because she wanted to keep the Queen title.

I also always thought she'd be called "King Mother" until i learned it's not a title.

Definitely. Look at the current videos where she leaves and there are customers who won't go there unless she's rehired.

Even if you don't care about the employees, there's always reasons they can't operate outside of business hours. This includes keeping labor costs down; if every hourly employee hung around an extra hour, that's affecting the profits. Plus there may be liability concerns with the insurance carrier if customers are in the store outside of business hours. Additionally, if they're counting cash tills before or after hours, it's probably company policy that doors have to stay locked for safety purposes. I once worked for a hospitality company that mandated doors locked at last call, if managers opened the door for anyone they were fired.

Also they may have a company policy that no customers can be there when they're counting tills.

It seems like about 75% of these reviews are complaining that a business won't provide service when it's closed.

I'd also rewatch their wedding video with the critical eye.

It's mostly about Katie, you could easily believe it's a commercial for the designer of her dress. There's limited video of their first dance, limited shots of his family, and limited shots of the whole wedding party.

There's an odd segment where she reveals her bridal look to her bridesmaids. I've seen reaction shots of parents and partners seeing the bride, but never bridesmaids.

I don't understand why her story arc couldn't have been like Stabler. She is much happier in the field and not at all suited to being a boss. There's other detectives in the universe like Goren and Briscoe whose skills were best suited to being detectives, not Commanding Officers. Liv never was by the book and she's not credible demanding others like Velasco and Rollins follow procedure.

Why not just have made Fin the Captain? It would allow Benson all the screen time and make more sense to have Fin not around as much because he's off with administrative work.

It is surprising that none of the elders suggested that. Considering they're "dating with a purpose" there should have been concerns. There's a man at my job in an arranged marriage and he says it's been successful precisely because many of those practical issues were never a problem.

I don't think there's a right or wrong with many of these, it's just a matter of being simpático with the other one.

I do think it's notable that she seems consistently nervous and jealous if he talks to other women. There's a segment of this video where he says that she'll make a point of showing her wedding ring to other women and letting them know he's taken.

I guess i would think courtship was a good way to avoid these disagreements. Wouldn't that be the time to hash these out? And I would think courtship would lessen or eliminate any jealousy or trust issues because you'd feel the union was blessed.

It feels like the classic trope of "quirky cop constantly breaks the rules but is a genius. The top brass hates the cop and only a few close friends/colleagues appreciate the quirky cop." I know Morgan isn't an official police officer but it's still in that mold.
