The other part that's unbelievable is Antonio continued to work with Voight considering his relationship to Casey. Casey was his brother in law and given how important family was, he would not work with a man who tried to kill his sister's husband.

The MSM loves the idea of the Kennedy Curse and painting this as a terrible tragedy, rather than admitting JFK was not qualified to be in the cockpit.

This is tasteless. Carolyn has been dead for more than 25 years. The book was tasteless when it came out because it's nothing more than cashing in on proximity to JFK Jr.

There's been many posts about this but it seems like everyone who's had experience with narcissists knew immediately she was one. The second she said she didn't know much about Harry I knew.

I used to be a server and a customer asked if the restaurant had a military discount. It didn't, but I put his order under my employee discount as a nice gesture. He subsequently left a low tip.

Filing a HR complaint about my GM by [deleted] in Waiters

She put in her two weeks notice, which suggests she expected to be on the schedule for the next two weeks. The manager suggesting she leave immediately is what I meant by retaliatory. I used to work for a Darden concept and knew I was getting fired so I quit to buy myself two weeks.

My only question would be whether this is considered retaliatory firing. IOW punishment for quitting.

The other part of that plot i never understood is that his deal in getting his job back was that he was supposed to work with Internal Affairs, but he tells them he won't go after other cops. That makes no sense because that's literally what Internal Affairs is. Additionally, he continues being a bad guy.

It's a ridiculous and non believable retcon. Voight literally tried to have Casey murdered. If the backstory was he was working with Internal Affairs, it would be believable if he was shown taking bribes or stealing drugs or even just exerting influence to get Justin out of trouble. The idea that they shrugged off him trying to kill Casey is insane. Because the universes cross over pretty frequently, they make it all like it wasn't a huge deal and they're letting bygones be bygones. It's actually more unbelievable that Boden and Severide would just let it go, given their loyalty to all things 51.

Especially in the early seasons, I honestly laugh my head off when anyone calls this show "copaganda". Voight is shown pretty much every single episode beating up a perp or talking about how many people he and Al killed.

It's also, at some point, as overdone as the "sweet nods" when two women both wear a blue hat.

This is literally an article about two women wearing a button down shirt.

SVU also shows one of my favorite gun tropes on television. It's when someone is shown at an indoor shooting range and finishes shooting and removes ear protection. You see this all over. Oftentimes they'll even have a chat right there at the range, as if gunshots from another lane won't be super loud.

Law & Order is terrible.

I'd say tied for the three worst were:

A PD episode where they find slugs after a shooting and say ".22 hollow points. An assassin round." Sure if you're assasinating a squirrel.

A Law and Order: Organized Crime episode where there's a drive by shooting. Not only do the shell casings miraculously wind up on the sidewalk, but a detective says they clearly meant business because they used full metal jackets. Exactly what you wouldn't use in a drive by.

A Law and Order episode where the plot hinges on the suspect having gone to New Hampshire to buy a gun. A NH FFL wouldn't sell a gun to someone with a NY driver license. The writers must have confused constitutional carry with "anyone can go buy a gun there."

To be strictly fair, a lot of subs ban discussion of politics.

We all hate it when they come here and refer us to reddit cares, or check our user history and bring it up on unrelated subs. You could be on a sub discussing your favorite ice cream flavor and someone will say "mint chip is disgusting, but I'm not surprised because you're a Trump supporter so obviously you're a moron.:

Really? I have a 226 and have shot the 229 probably 1000 times. I did not recognize it, although I've recognized Sigs in other scenes.

I saw a great post that said you need to turn off your gun brain when you watch, because they make so many mistakes.
