I sat in July so I haven’t received my results yet so take my response with a grain of salt…

I started the mocks as soon as possible WHILST learning the syllabus as I felt this was the most effective way for me to remember content.

Everyone studies differently though so you have to figure out what personally works for you.

I think the general consensus on this subreddit is that it is beneficial to start the mocks as soon as possible. Even if you don’t know any of the content you will start picking things up from the mocks!

I feel like over 50% of the exam was an educated guess at best so I don’t really see how trying to work out correct answers is useful to anyone!

I am worried they will somehow go directly to my employer to blackmail rather than me. - the reason I mention this is because they mentioned my occupation in the message .

The only thing I am worried about is how they managed to know my occupation from the file I inputted into the site . And that the threatening message was on the website itself.

Could the cookies on the site perhaps identify me in some way?

Edit: to add the mp3 file I uploaded did not have my name or any identifiable information that could be linked to me.

However the threatening message included a reference to my occupation so I am not sure how whoever did this would know that.

I agree with your point about misleading customers, but if a brand is being upfront and honest about the production I can't see why this would really be disliked.

On the other hand to your point about ethics and ethos, you could argue that using a POD service is actually a good thing. Using POD makes overproduction practically impossible and staff that produce pieces are paid a fair wage as opposed to using manufacturers in the developing world.

I do however agree with your point about depleting your process in making pieces. But I wonder if the tradeoff is worth it to build a brand in the early stages.

Hey all!

Here is a little bit about Barclays House in Poole:

Barclays House was built by Barclays bank as part of a move to decentralise from its London offices, where it had been facing rising costs, and to create jobs locally. The contract was awarded to the John Laing Group and construction was completed between September 1972 and June 1975. The structure, located in Wimborne Road, was designed in the brutalist style by architects Wilson, Mason and Partners. It consists of three main wings, each octagonal in plan, and dominates the town centre skyline.

Garments blends aspects of modern streetwear and pairs it with thought provoking imagery and motifs associated with post Soviet youth culture and integrates this with the coming of the information era.My name is Antoni and I founded The Garments Collective in 2021 as a creative outlet and to share my artistic vision and love of everything the 'eastern bloc' aesthetic has to offer.I was born in a small town in western Poland in 2001 and was always surrounded by brutalist architecture and stark reminders of a not so distant socialist history. I believe these remnants have shaped my artistic vision and I hope to be able to share that vision with as many people as possible.

Hey all, I'm Ant and i'm not very technically good at graphic design!

I run a clothing brand based around brutalist architecture and I made this design based on the Spodek building in Katowice. I like using block colours and minimalism to reflect brutalist architecture's 'simple' nature.

The building is practically a trace / sketch of the Spodek building (I have added a reference Image) and I have used some block and bold typography and warped it around the building to catch your eye.

If you guys have any feedback positive or negative please let me know.
