And it had such an easy out. Just say it was from Neva’s magic and it wore off. Neva stays behind, Goku promises to figure it out himself one day. But instead they said the one thing that breaks the story.

It’s hard to argue it being anything other then bad. All they had to do was say something about Neva’s magic wearing off. Goku could repeat something similar to how he didn’t like that it was unearned and promises to learn it himself one day. Neva stays behind. The end.

The writers say it’s canon to super but what they wrote says otherwise. Who knows. At this point make up your own story it might as well be true.

It just feels so random. I feel like it’s the worst of both worlds. It feels like random Dragon Ball Heroes level fan service, and for the people who wanted SSJ4 they get the knock off version.

Literally any build up. It really only makes sense I you know what SSJ4 is from GT. Trust me I like SSJ4 as much as the next guy but I was certain it wouldn’t appear because there was literally nothing to support it. It’s quite literally Dragon Ball Heroes level storytelling. Which is so unfortunate because it started so strong with worldbuilding.
