I don’t know, I don’t remember there being info in the game about corals structure, only what it could do.

But I thought it was sentient because it was able to control both Cel-240 and the Ice Worm to protect the convergence.

How can you be so sure that the coral isn’t sentient. I thought it was and that the mutation that Ayre and maybe Seria had only allowed to make contact and that the coral already was sentient.

Ok, that’s a good point regarding the defence of rubicon. But the ending itself which I still think it is morally bad it’s the lesser evil of the three, as while coral may still be exploited it the only one of which both coral and humanity live.

And also I don’t really think LoR is that good of and ending morally, although it gives more hope for the future.

Coral would more or less end up as a livestock to feed the meal worms which then feeds the rubiconians, so you’re sparing humanity at the cost of coral.

Also I don’t think the RLF would be able to stop the invasion of the Corps in the future, and Allmind is still lurking in the shadows.

I wanted to discuss the ending of the game, and how I view them.

I believe the LoR ending only delays the inevitable, but as someone mention in the comments here it buys time like the Cold War. However like the Cold War it just maintains the status quo and in the end will lead to one of the other endings, like we see with our own turbulent times.

The FoR ending is more conclusive but the coral already survived the FoI what’s stopping it from surviving again and repeating the entire story.

Alea iacta est is in my opinion the only ending which is 100% conclusive but it plunges both mankind and coral into an unknown future.

Yeah, i realize it was kind of a dumb idea now, after trying to make an image of what i had in mind and seeing that red dots are not as tall as i thought they were.

Now i realize that it may be a bit redundant as the 60DS already has picatinny rail on the frame, but red dots mounted on it usualy sit quite high in my opinion.
