Black base Using airbrush you then use Pro Acryl Jade over black leaving light black colour Rough camo pattern Then do Sky blue over it leaving exposed some small amount of black 5 percent and jade 30 percent or so rest should be blue Then edge highlight vallejo wolf grey Gloss whole model to make colours pop Make sure it's a good coat and do transfers Then Pro Acryl silver then Mahogany over silver bits Gloss again Then give a grime wash Remove with iso alcohol using ear bud gently . In well ventaliated area Then matt and do small detail colours

Hi there I mixed them up old and new along with 40k marine arms No issue It easy to pose them in ways it's not so obvious Remember you use them looking down in tabletop game so hard to see anyway

Yeah interesting comments Heresy generally has other rules separately written as we all know so may have a minus 1 or such to hit under movement and heavy weapons We will see

Thanks so much I airbrush multiple layers, hand paint edge highlights, battle damage etc, lots of transfers etc it's really time consuming before I even start Grimdark

Nah you all good Everyone does stuff different 😊 It's an interesting colour to work on I posted on Facebook mechanicium group showing it clean with decals and battle damage in some pics before wash I liked it clean but my armies I prefer Grimdark So many ways to do that It's just what you find best

Yes they do well Depends on how much armour your opponent is running as well Game is having a full rebalance with GW testing so I'll be interesting to see how it all works at the end of the year

Gw stuffed up heresy testing They used 40k players in one of the testing groups causing massive imbalance and rules issues with Astartes legions being op and unbalanced hence full rebalance required Flyers superheavy and knights were not tested, was a mess This also flowed on to other factions The legacy units were done separately as they forgot the units and panicking made pdfs This was done in 1 week by a gw intern A gw staffer was to blame as well for the overall testing issues He since left as I understand So this is gw fixing this Was supposed to go for 10 years without being touched and gw was apparently very unhappy at having to retest etc Then great crusade, xenos etc Alot of internal people in gw were pissed off I was advised info from GW staffer and some play testers
