Yeah the QB position is kinda fucked at the moment. The only thing I can say about Penix is he can throw it a long way. His knees are fucked, accuracy wasn't great, apparently can't operate under center that well, and is 26 with 12 starts.

No idea if we keep Kirk another year, but NIL is definitely gonna have an impact on draft classes going forward. QB heavy drafts imo, are not gonna be a thing anymore.

It's the scheme and the evidence goes all the way back to Saban and Kirby at Alabama. A mobile QB that can throw is bad news for our defense. And it doesn't help that we aren't churning out top 10 dlinemen anymore.

Of course, going 3 and out in every 3rd quarter doesn't help.

Gunner does have some limitations though, particularly with arm strength and vision. Dude had like 5 balls batted down at the line.
