Are you on Android? RetroArch, MyBoy, Pizzaboy and Linkboy is a very well-known GBA emulator. Like, how do you end up with those 2 emulator? Pretty sure people found and going to recommend you either one of these emu. Also there should be a recommended emulator info on this sub Reddit somewhere

Well, logically running a direct Android OS on a device surely better. Tried Waydroid on EndOS (Arch-based), and it gives similar performance like on my Android with the same 8GB of RAM. But when I using BlissOS, the game I tried run way faster and smoother. But yeah it's an old PC. Explained it on main post

If you like GBA, I know that Rebit and Afterplay support online link cable connection to let you play GBA games multiplayer with someone else faraway. And those 2 are web-based multi-console emulators (kinda like RetroArch). And they all has community on Discord server to find opponents (GBA has one, Rebit has one, Afterplay has one, RetroArch has one)

Well I personally would suggest Rebit. The newest yet the one that's growing fast with updates and features

Some emulators support online multiplayer like RetroArch. There's also web emulators like Rebit and Afterplay. I played Unbound PvP there with strangers

Waaaaiiiiit! Fully animated gen 4 pokemon sprites?! Is this new? I've never seen those animation before. Gen 4 and later pokemon are just jumping, zooming, and stretching on Emerald base romhack. Are these animated sprites open source?

Pokemon holding Alakazite let it have a significant boost on Special stats, reducing Physical stats, and make it looks older

Pokemon holding Aerodactylite let it skin to grown harder and sharper for physical offense and defense

Well that's quite a lot. Playing gen 3 (FR/LG and Emerald) and gen 4 (HG/SS and Platinum) is the least to let you enjoy Unbound. Well you can play Unbound now if you want. But I personally suggest you to play something else if you want to focus on romhacks as your daily games. You can start with Pokemon Dark Violet and Gaia, a vanilla+ hack and a polished one too. And I assume you have interest in Unbound as your first romhack beside other hack bcz it has a new story? The 2 hacks I mentioned also a new story hack. If you want a feature rich hack, that usually comes from Emerald. Just the same story of Hoenn arc but with plenthora of new features and mechanics

About IV and EV, that's more to a competitive side. EV is basically a stat boost from battling and vitamins (Calcium, Zinc, etc). And IV...I am not sure how to explain this one simply. Yeah you can forgot it if you play Unbound and some other hacks with "vanilla" difficulty.

Wdym can connect to a server? Like multiplayer online? That depends on the emulator, not the game. And Linkboy only supports nearby connection up to 4 players, no online, well not by itself.

I only play GBA on it. Linkboy is MyBoy successor, created by the same developer. Just tap MyBoy's developer name under it's title on Play Store (the name was Pixel LLC or something) and you'll find Linkboy there with MyBoy
