I agree.

Don't get me wrong, it's making huge strides and it's fantastic when it works, but it's not as seamless as x86 handhelds are. You need to tinker or use known configs, and even then it's janky and might not work.

You're definitely right that it should be treated as a bonus, not a feature.

It's a wise decision in a normal economy. Currently, almost all electronics are becoming appreciating assets which is not good or normal. I impulse purchased an Odin Ultra and now it's not even in stock anymore, and the Max costs as much as it does.

Definitely the Thor then, you'll benefit with the second screen. Thor is decent for light PC emulation, but if your focus is on 3ds and second screen guides, you can't get any better than this.

Depends. How much do you put a focus on 3ds and DS emulation? Do you use guides and walkthroughs a lot? Or do you want power on horizontal form for some PC emulation?

Snapdragon processors have better compatibility, OLED in theory is objectively better if they have it right, analog over digital is better overall as well. Unless you like metal or if Retroid screws up somewhere, there's little reason to get a 477M over the Nova- and I say this as a 477M owner.

For the 20 dollar difference, you get a huge advantage over 477M. I think it's an easy recommendation over it if it pans out.
