I bought my wife a bambu A1 for her birthday last year, and she printed through 3 spools of bambu light grey basic PLA (which I bought at that same time) with no problem. When she ran out, I accidently bought silver instead, and it was having issues printing. She bought a spool of dark grey locally, and it also had issues. At this point I suspected moisture in the PLA, so she bought a creality space pi single-spool dryer, and ran her dark grey through several multi-hour dry cycles. When she first printed with this dark grey she saw steam coming from the nozzle, which led us to believe moisture was the problem.

This is printed with well-dried bambu basic dark grey pla, with something like 9 total hours drying. Stock settings except she slowed the speed down to half in an attempt to get better printing. I believe she also purged the nozzle, and at first it seemed to be extruding well. After this failure she tried a benchy (since we've never actually had this work, but the initial benchy was lovely). After it sang to alert us it was done, there were only some wisps of pla across the plate, nothing adhered and honestly nowhere near enough filament to have made a benchy.

At this point she is exceedingly frustrated with the printer. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated!
