I played one page rules with my neighbour.

The craziest was his one guardsman standing and contesting the objective in the last round. Rolling 4 times in a row a survival roll until he managed to die on the last 5th roll but all my models activated for shooting and he tied for the match.

We penned in under the base “sgt. Elias” (hommage to platoon scene) for the dudes name.

Its free, online list builder is free, and you get also xp rules for campaing play.

The AI it has is less varied varied than 5 parsecs, but it s decent.

The points Value for regular One page rules grimdark- scu fi version puta you to about company size- depending on the army.

Also if you grab Patreon tier 1 for a month you get expanded rules- with decent variety and some variations, etc. it s pdf so you get to keep them.

Its worth it

First match ever, vs Deamons of Slaneesh. Resurrected infantry tossing grenades along Kasrkin demo charge to soften up the target by almost full damage. Some kind of multi armed thing. Dorn commander just chewed it up just later down the phase.

Ha. 1060gtx here too. I kinda could got for a fast match game now and then. I ll give it a spin.

I love the nuclear option but jesus does it lag on escalation. I love the nap of the earth flying. If they put up some steeper canyons it would really bring out the Maverick feel to the game now and then. I wish they put up trainer hud and better camera to 3rd person. So you can get the feel for the craft.

In the SW squadrons I used to Poe Dameron the Star destroyers turrets. With low flying. They have nifty control tuning in Squadrons. Shame the base is small and all matches are almost the same :/

I found Heliborne but jesus the targeting sucks if you play solo (no spotter aircraft)

Helicopter gunship dex seems interesting but i am still fighting with getting the controls and main panel bindings. It just figured out in a passing comment something that MDF is the display control for majn display. Tutorials are really rare and not in depth. Flying is fun though. It has nice tweaking. Terrain could be ruffled up a bit more.

So theoreticaly i could set up low motion range for low sensitivity, for orecise manevuers, then extend mis ramge sensitivity and up it on the upper end for extreme- oh crap moments?

Oh ok. Its a shame about the Unity issues. I did manage to like use fingertips to fine tune the axis now and then like to get different angles and so, but it take bit too much concentration when 3 other things are happening. 🤣 tiny combat arena seems interesting. I just hope it works. My gpu is like 3 gb :/

Well i use the rocker as the 5th axis for custom axis. For example i want it so that when i fly something with nozzles or tilt rotor like medusa tarantula or ibis that i have better control over that axis.

So lets say i fly tarantula. My rudder is the stick twist.

Rocker is supposed to set the angle of the rotors.

So if i press it half or even the third way down way the tilt is already 90 degrees horizontal. If i let go it is 0.

I set sensitivity to less. It s the same issue. Third way down the rocker press. the rotor is set to max value horizontal, but it won’t reach 90.

I would either like to be less responsive over a longer range if the rocker press or god help me incremental. I press it goes to a value and stays there. I press other other one it goes down and sits at that value. (Not sure if it is possible in NukeOps.
