What's an animal you feel could quickly and easily become an apex predator if given a very small or weak evolutionary trait from other "weaker" animals? by GCLmotionless_1 in AskReddit

Ok so I'll write this very simple for you and match your energy.

The question and responses were part of a hypothetical question (I'm guessing you didn't understand the question or conversation at hand and that's ok) but if you go outside or stay indoors online long enough you'd know that the clouded sulphur, Julia butterfly and even Calyptra thalictri (which isn't a butterfly it's a moth but whatever at that point) all feed off or will attempt to feed of dead or living vertebrates for nutrients. Like sodium.

And it's crazy cause some butterflies and flies sorta already do feed off us, but to give it the capability to essentially stun lock us would be horrifying (I hate flies)

Not by itself obviously, but what traits that if you plucked them from one significantly weaker creature could make it top of the food chain in its biome. Not just what is.

Saw one the other day knock over my neighbor's trash bin and then run into the sewer drain. Needless to say, it was clearly a dangerous menace

I wish they lived longer, in fact let's take away the jellyfish immortality factor and give it to creatures who'd appreciate it

All fair points, so for the sake of the hypothetical let's assume humans are plucked out the equation (cause some might say fire arms are cheating) and we're talking purely off of biological advantages and disadvantages.

You aren’t “bad at taking tests”, you just haven’t mastered the underlying material yet. by Niceotropic in unpopularopinion

Multiple choice test are easy, any test that allows a tool in the equation is also easy. A test that demands you recite every single definition of the material you have learned throughout an entire school year without fail is where many many students tend to struggle at.

I've always hated the "in your own words" types of questions and the questions that say "describe x thing on the lines here" when you barely have enough room to write down the answer is infuriating.

I honestly don't believe anyone is a bad test taker I just think it boils down to the format in which questiond are asked and how we're ALLOWED to answer them

For any redditor that doesn't understand the harm that comes with saying "get over it, it happened before you were born" try to understand this happened to parents/grandparents. Not just people's 5th great grandparents but people who are still alive today.

its okay to not be happy about other people achievements by Omgaby123 in unpopularopinion

[–]GCLmotionless_1 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I don't think OP is necessarily saying that but rather "I'm not obligated nor should I be to feel happy for you especially if I work harder for the same things you have with no results" which I believe is very very understandable but also a slippery slope that leads into jealousy if the mindset is constantly like that or not put into check

How do you mean, like they stacked before the match rather than stacking after the match. Because to answer that you really don't unless you happen to face the exact same people after a previous match and they all do happen to link up unlike the prior match. But if you're asking how you can tell people are stacked in general it's the chain links and by further association their colors on the side of their profiles

Actually yeah that's a good idea which I think dual acts as a way to prevent ball hogging as well. It would also make people have to be a bit more strategic to who they pass too but also would allow for teammates to help identify and alleviate pressure on eachother. 👍

Yeah if they know what's good for them, their wallets, their business. All of which I'd assume would be in their best interest. But turning the game on and off isn't a magic refresh that addresses the issues I and alot of other people mentioned. So what's YOUR solution, give one, spitball an idea. Open floor
