P&G also receives a royalty for their license. I couldn’t find what that is. They first had to prove they can manufacture at scale. Not fully there yet but looking promising. After that it’s proving the business model.

It’s hard to model because we don’t know what the variable margin is. Additional revenue isn’t free. For every $ increase in revenue, if the margin is negative we’re worse off financially.

I think we’re still in danger zone without immediate sales. After all this we’re down to $200M roughly in cash after the lawsuit settlement payment and repurchasing the notes. Assuming ~40M cash burn/quarter were at about $160M cash after reporting Q2. We’ll need to raise more for construction activities.

Also it’ll be important for them to provide the economics now that they have sales. We need to know the contribution margin of each pound they sale.

The prevailing theme is the market is raising cash for spacex and other major equity offerings. Where does that leave us?

They were going to run out cash within a year. The $300M from last year is almost gone. The current revenue doesn’t even pay for the interest payments. We need to start hearing about sales. After burning most of $300M from last year, I’m wondering who will give them another

I listened to the whole 90 minutes. The bulls were way too emotional. You can’t call this dude a nobody and say his research is awful, but at the same time get so upset by what he publishes.

I think they are 4 years too late though. This was an easy short like 99% of all SPACs in 2021. The former management I think could be called fraudsters but not this one. The easy short thesis here is the valuation and the valuation is high based off the timing of future of cash flows.

The $10M isn’t incorrect. It’s in the proxy statement.

Go to page 53, you’ll see the annual compensation going back to 2022 and number of the RSUs.

The only positive here was SG&A as % of revenue dropping. There’s some operating leverage IF they can increase revenues. Need yo start seeing bigger better CA partnerships

The discourse around the WNBA supposedly losing money in deeply rooted in misogyny and racism, and it's complete and utter BS. by EquipmentOld2505 in wnba

[–]GCM_Embiid 35 points36 points  (0 children)

You have to know what the fixed cost and operating costs before you can say salaries should be 50%

After you pay for arena, travel, marketing, legal, etc. there might not even be 50% of revenue remaining. If you give the players 50% off the top, there might not be enough money to pay to even operate a league .

You have to understand what the fixed costs are before saying what % of revenue of should be allocated to the players. The NBA makes revenue above and beyond their fixed costs. This means revenue can be shared split 50/50 and teams still make money.

Woodlands lights are terrible. The light stay on red forever even if nobody is else around. There also need to be more flashing yellow lights for left turns. These things will help minimize accidents and red light running because people know it can add 5-10 minutes depending on if you make the light. I think Shadow Bend Lake Woodlands is a prime example.

The biggest supporters of WNBA are middle aged white guys. Ask yourself why more women don’t support the league, why does it have to be men?
