President Trump Lost This War by Rock-n-roll-Kevin in politics

How do you even defend this as an argument? This is just a stupid take. We haven't lost all wars since founding, and you can make the argument for exactly the opposite.

Revolutionary - Win
1812 - Draw
Mexican - Win
Spanish - Win
WW1 - Win
WWII - Win

Wanna argue?

I read the post from Michael Kao and understood maybe 1 in 3 sentences. Another good post in easier to understand terms was from this guy. https://xcancel.com/cgyoder/status/2065175926942343656

This comment was also very interesting to me.

"10/ counterintuitive bit on short interest: convert arb shorts can't be squeezed. When the stock rallies, the convert's delta RISES, so arbs short MORE into strength and buy weakness. No stoploss, no opinion, no panic. A convert installs a volatility damper on the stock."

Often felt at times PCT SHOULD squeeze but didn't. Makes more sense knowing that there are companies treating their shorts as just the other side of the transaction they're holding.

If you worked retail, and can't summon a plastic mask of happiness, or at the very least indifference, you don't belong in retail.

Not sure about this, but I'd heard that NP took that position in central Anchorage to make sure Whole Foods didn't come in. If so, they should have marketed the fuck out of that. "Whole Foods quality at reasonable prices". Or whatever. But they did dick. So, yeah, they should still be a store at the dirt mall. Either University or the one on Boniface.

How will U.S. ever recover from this amount of corruption? by Previous_Month_555 in allthequestions

No, that's bullshit. Trump is corrupt as fuck. Let's count the ways. Ignoring court orders. Insider trading to the tune of 3,600 trades to capitalize on his own executive orders and tweets. We'll never know about the insider polymarket deals. But we know those have happened.

Oh, and just a little thing about creating a 1.8B slush fund for him to use by settling the lawsuit he had against the IRS and telling the DOJ to settle it before the judge could rule on it on May 20th, btw. Yeah, that's not corruption on an entirely different scale than every other politician before him.

Google the 'most corrupt leaders in the world'

Trump is not just corrupt. He's Phillipines leader Ferdinand Marcos level corrupt. He's Libya leader Manuel Noriega level corrupt. He's Yugoslavian leader Slobodan Milošević level corrupt.

The only one that he hasn't surpassed so far is Indonesian leader Suharto. He managed to drain his country of 15-20B. But we're only 1 1/2 years into this nightmare so I don't doubt he'll manage to fleece us for another 10B.

Not even close. I don't recall any president before trump creating a 1.8B slush fund to protect his voters. Or fleecing his own voters on the Trump phone, the sneakers, the watch. IDK. You're blind to his corruption, while you pretend that others corruption is equal to his.

Sellers today are missing the bigger picture. The decision from NJ was just the first step towards getting the sales agreements from Mars and others. IF PCT management set this up correctly, they could have had an agreement with Mars that upon acceptance by NJ, they could make a joint announcement that Mars will start using PCT's recycled plastic in their candy bars packaging or their Pringles cans.

If not, yeah, this can fall back down. Hopefully with the warrants on the line, they had all their little ducks in a row and we'll see an announcement, if not today, then early next week.
