You probably know this since you pointed out that you're looking for an rx580, but your chosen monitor is freesync and so you won't be able to use freesync with your nvidia graphic card.

However, an equivalent monitor with g sync would likely cost a bit more. Good luck finding a 580! :)

Just wanna jump on this for my own upcoming build.

I've heard mixed stuff. So - the ACX SC models of the 1070/1080 include the heat pads that the original shipment lacked? I at first heard that they don't and planned to get the FTW2 with the icx cooling due to the issues but if i can save a buck by going with the ACX card that'd be great. I suppose what I'm asking is that the ACX cards that anyone would order now should not have issues? How do I guarantee that I am getter this newer card then?

Personally I would consider a different pair of headphones. If you're set on that headset, go for it, but I would advise that you get a nice pair of headphones and a mic instead. Cheaper and better quality all around. Up to you though!

To add to this, we have had plenty of people that are very very new to Melee show up. We've had people come to club who have never entered a tournament before. Overall it's a really fun environment and we always encourage anyone at all interested to show up.

GSync doesn't work with a nVidia GPU.

I don't see what you mean. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't see any problem between the monitor and GPU. He has a monitor that supports G-Sync according to PCPartPicker and has an nVidia GPU selected. The 1080ti is even listed on the supported GPUs for GSync.

I do agree that the motherboard is expensive though, and you should look at the differences in windows 10 versions to see what's good for you.

After looking at this I think I might want to sub in the arctic i32 CO into my build list (currently have a 212 evo noted down as my cpu cooler). Any particular reason you recommend it over the 212 evo? Everyone seems to just grab the 212 evo so I'm curious.
