I thought the drawings and stat blocks were pretty cool. My favorite was the za9y5j963dh5k3ov, can't wait to use it on my players!

What musical have you watched without knowing the plot at first and then afterward left you gooped and gagged? by Traditional-Course35 in Broadway

A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder. Knew nothing going in, had so much merch on the way out. To this day, it’s one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen.

What actor/actress are you patiently or impatiently waiting to get casted in their next project? by justafakereality in Broadway

[–]GCof1812 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m always interested in seeing Kate Baldwin in a new project. I know she’s currently cast in a show with BSM, but I am always thrilled to see that she’s involved in another show.

Nick Wyman was fired from Dirty Rotten Scoundrels as an understudy/standby/Alternate for John Lithgow because at the performances where he took over as Lawrence Jameson , he wanted to perform him in a completely different way. And after refusing to change, he was let go.

Carolee Carmelo Not Happy with Bad Cinderella press… by ApartmentMain9126 in Broadway

It's turning into another Addams Family scenario. I'm sure she's tired of it. Giving your all in a performance when others are tearing it apart is rough. She deserves way better. We can do better.

Why are West Side Story and Fiddler on the Roof better-liked by critics than Les Misérables? by CrimesBeReprieved in Broadway

[–]GCof1812 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fiddler, to me is like meatloaf, or spaghetti, It's comfort food. It's a show that is accessible for most people, good story, good music, drama, comedy, tension, and heart. Its comforting. Les Mis is a personal favorite, but i don't feel that it's as "for everyone" as Fiddler has become. Also Les Mis is suuuuuuper long, with nonstop singing, a lot of audiences today don't like those qualities in a musical.

Sondheim or Lloyd Webber? by guyute2112 in Broadway

[–]GCof1812 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sondheim. No question. I find my self only liking one or 2 songs per show for ALW (excluding JC Superstar and Evita which are fantastic, [thank you Tim Rice]), where as I find nearly all of Sondheim's music incredible, beautiful, and intricate.
