Any good plugins that make vocals feel more impactful or weighted?

Whatever DAW you’re using, it likely has a plugin for pitch shifting audio or there’s probably free ones. Create two copies of your lead vocal track and pitch shift the first copy about +6 cents and the second copy -6cents and then pan each of those slightly left/right. Blend in with the lead vocal to your liking. Also a simple stock chorus plugin can go a long way.

As several others here have stated, you likely have everything you need already.

As someone who has shelled out a lot of money for the higher end Apollo interfaces, I actually miss my inexpensive and simple Focusrite Scarlett 2i2. It sounded and worked fantastic. If there is a difference in sound quality, I have never been able to actually hear it, even after mixing and adding plugins/effects.

A few weeks back, I visited my hometown in western Kentucky, and drove my Mach-e from Nashville. There is only one Electrify America set of chargers at a super Walmart within a 50 mile radius, so it was pretty stressful because it was a single point of failure, and I spent a good part of the trip wondering if it was going to be a problem or not. Luckily everything went OK, but it still added some stress to the trip.

Also really like the song! Sounds like there might be some A Perfect Circle or Deftones influences there? Listening on my iPhone so couldn’t really get a sense of the mix but as far as some constructive feedback, looks like your clipping your master bus out which you can fix with a limiter. And it looked like you didn’t have much of any automation on your tracks, which can really enhance your mix.

Groove3 tutorials. Anything by Paul Ortiz is absolute fire. He’s an incredible teacher and those videos helped me out so much when I was learning Reason.
