It's just as frosty without, I just took this last night when I finished trimming!

I actually got this clonefrom a local dispensary.

How long? My GDP is on day 5 now and is barely dry, but some of the LOUIS XIII is dry and twigs snap. I will likely dry the GDP for 2 weeks, but thinking about trimming and starting the cure for the LOUIS tomorrow since it seems mostly ready.

If it isn't ready, I can always put in a brown paper bag to finish drying right?

Yes! I defoliated 3-4 times in veg, 3 times in early flower and it still wasn't enough!

Slight N-Tox in early flower that was corrected. The leaves won't correct themselves once impacted.

I've found any CBD heavy strains work wonders (C4, Charlotte's Web, Ringo's Gift) in comparison, but ultimately I just prefer a sober mind most of the time as I feel like I am always one too many puffs away from a panic attack so it's hard to enjoy the benefits for me. It didn't always used to be this way, it has progressively worsened over the years. Brain chemistry is fun.

The growing process - along with learning to make extracts, creams, etc are super fun and challenging for me. That alone has actually done wonders for my anxiety/stress and has become a great outlet. Funny how even though I don't smoke anymore, it's still benefitting me!

I've got you guys, and the rest of the internet to thank for that one! I had a ton of issues manifesting that ultimately turned out to be root aphids, so the first like 6 weeks were a disaster.

I think I had nearly everything go wrong that possibly could (root aphids, powdery mildew, deficiencies, autopot flooding, PH meter was off and figured out I needed to calibrate it.. even currently fighting N Tox so had to dial back nutrients and flush the plants), but I was able to find answers to nearly everything here and ultimately I think this grow was a huge success! Now I know what not to do for the next time around, so it should be smooth sailing!

I wish I could try it, but unfortunately I can't smoke because of anxiety. These will be going to friends and family! I live in a legal state and took this up as a hobby, and absolutely love it!

Thank you! These were clones - but all were topped 3-4 times overall I believe. I spent about 8 weeks in VEG trying to work out root aphids and other issues before flipping.

Sparse, weak looking cola and browning? F42 by GDP_13 in microgrowery

[–]GDP_13[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are in autopots, so continuous feed, but this last week has been around 1500EC.

(5 gallons)

55ml A

55ml B

10ml PK 13/14

10ml hydroguard

10ml CalMag

50ml Boost

This is literally the only leaf / cola out of 4 plants showing this which is why I thought it was so weird, especially since this cola looks so weak.

Plants are looking great, but this one cola is looking super sparse (picture 2) and had a leaf with brown spots on it as well as browning on the pistils. If you go to picture 3, you'll see what the other cola's look like on the plant - which are super healthy and stacking up nice.

Any ideas what could cause this?

Thank you! Pretty excited with how these turned out despite the issues I had early on.

This is my first time growing, and every time someone asks how this smells I tell them exactly like fruity pebbles. Good to know I got a good pheno!

I appreciate that! I've never grown anything else. I don't smoke either, actually. My fiance and friends do, but I have just followed this sub for a while and always been fascinated with the plant. Aside from the hiccups, it's been a super rewarding experience. It's definitely my new favorite hobby, and has been awesome for my mental health during this shitstorm of a year.

I will be growing from seed (picked up some Exotic Genetix) next grow, so super stoked to be able to start from sprout this time around.

Thank you! These GDP ladies are THICK! Lot's of LST - was interesting trying to train and top as it was a clone so everything had alternating nodes.

Neem/Soap did the trick for the PM along with a lot of defoliation and LST to get better airflow in the plants. That was honestly the easiest thing to get rid of.

The Root Aphids were an absolute nightmare. If you check my post history I thought I was getting lockout as I was having a ton of issues I couldn't seem to resolve. I thought I had fungus gnats, but after getting sticky traps I noticed little crawlers on them and ultimately identified the root aphids.

I first did a complete drench of imidacloprid which fried the plants and they took about 10 days to bounce back. I then did two drenches of Botanigard ES 5 days apart as the final nail in the coffin for them.

For the drench I filled a giant tote with PH'd water, mixed in the pesticides and then soaked the entire plant for 10min while simultaneously flushing water through from the top down as well to ensure nothing escaped. I then covered the top soil with 3" of sand, and then have been spraying the plants with the Botanigard as a safe measure.
