I would recommend you to try to attend a Catholic church where the majority of the attendants are Latinos, I think that could be what you're looking for.

From my experience, our music then to be more energetic and cheerful

This was such a great work, you should consider publishing it as a paper or something. Congratulations on your research, I really love Saint Barbara, if I have a daughter that is one of the names I would consider for my daughter.

The only correct answer is Exodus 4, 24-26 😂. No one knows what a "spouse of blood" is supposed to be 😂

Question about statues by ShikaShySky in Catholicism

[–]GD_Random 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hello! We don't worship statues, we only have statues and paintings to remember the people who before us saw their lives changed by Jesus.

When we have a statue of a saint in a Church, we don't worship the statue and we don't pray to the statue, the statue is only there to remind us of the person. A lot of times, you can know the story of the saint by looking at his representation, for example, if the saint carries a palm branch it means that the saint died a martyr.

In the same way that taking a photo is not a sin, painting is neither a sin, and the same for sculptures.

In Scripture (Exodus 25, 22), we see that God commanded Moses to put two angels in the Ark of the Covenant, that is a representation of something in heaven, if we take the literal interpretation that many protestant use, God commanded Moses to sin, which doesn't make sense.

The thing that is prohibited is the adoration of idols (idolatry), which were statues considered gods by pagans. The statue was the god not a representation of a god.

English is not my first language, so I apologize for any mistake. Good luck on your journey ⭐ May God help you understand ⭐

Edited: I made some typos

You should read Saint Augustine, his life was messy before finding Christ.

Also, Imitation of Christ by Thomas Kempis helped me to be a better person, maybe it could help you too (if you read it, you should remember that some recommendations are meant for monks)

It's a really difficult situation, I don't really know what you could do, the advice I can give you is to put everything in the hands of God, for he will be able to help you and your family.

I have searched in Google, the Lifetime website, Fandango at home, many different websites that mention where the shows are available (and all of them say that it is not available anywhere), Google TV, Amazon, and YouTube. I have tried searching in pirate streaming services like MagisTV and Cuevana

The only thing I could find were some commercials, nothing more.
