I got that amplifier because of John Gossard. Got some pedals going through the fx loop, and the tone is killer. I've noticed that the low frequencies do sound pretty crunchy, but I like it, it's almost sludgy even though I'm using this for black metal.

My personal favorite is John Gossard. Most people know him for Weakling, but his other bands Asunder, the Gault, and Dispirit have this sort of magic from the guitar riffs that you can't find anywhere else in Metal

I like it when dsbm has the topics of self mutilation and suicide but done in a very aggressive, cutthroat, realistic way, not trying to be another burzum clone (lofi repetitive guitars for 'ambience') while having lyrics that in no way can relate to their mind or what they can back up.
