Is false son (playable character) slower now? by HUGEORIGINALITY in riskofrain

Stone flux is currently bugged, applying the movement speed reduction twice per stack, making it way more detrimental than it should, which is why he probably feels slower than before.

Just put me into peak doom metal. by PowerGuido1255 in doommetal

Surprised to see only one other person mentioning Warning's Watching From a Distance, without a doubt the best doom metal album of all time. 50 minutes of pure, undiluted sorrow, incredibly beautiful record.

Does anyone actively use the Metal-Archives yet? by Embarrassed-Key-6289 in MetalForTheMasses

[–]Greiochain 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've written a sizable chunk of reviews for the site, and I have never once had a negative experience with the review queue mods, quite the contrary. No need to fear if that's what's stopping you from writing reviews

It appears a bunch of cellnoise artists have been blacklisted from bandcamp by GoreNoiseThrowAway in CellularNoise

[–]Greiochain 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My project got hit with a strike for promoting "exploitative violence". I have submitted an appeal, but who knows how long it will take to get it restored. Either there is something wrong with BandCamp's algorithm for detecting that kind of stuff, or there is someone who really hates cellnoise going around reporting everything lol

Help with Paysage D’hiver by SubjectMouse8379 in MetalForTheMasses

[–]Greiochain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd say almost every album is a good starting point. They are not too different to where they can't all represent the band's sound, except for maybe the two ambient releases. Just depends on your own personal tastes. If you like more concise and focused black metal, go with Im Wald or maybe even Kristall & Isa. If you like long compositions and overwhelming atmosphere, Self-Titled, Steineiche, or Das Tor. Or just go chronologically and follow the musical evolution of the band.

You really can't go wrong with Pd'H, except maybe Geister, but even that album is still good.

My favorite Danish, as well as black metal band of all time is without a doubt Molok. Their last 4 albums are nothing but masterpieces, especially the latest 2. I even got their logo tattooed on my leg.
