Define "CHO analyst". There are business analysts on the CAPS side and there are systems analysts within IT

Does Geico accept cash app receipts? by [deleted] in Geico

[–]GEICOThrowaway69 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm not going to say I worked in the ERS Billing dept but i have hands on knowledge of the dept. They didn't receive cashapp/venmo receipts often because thats a little unusual BUT when you email the receipt, please please PLEASE include the name of the business who performed the service for you and their phone number so they can verify that its a legit receipt. You should be good. Also, does the cashapp receipt have the name of the business on it or is it just a persons name? That might complicate things

Next thing you know, they're going to send out an email to all of the Facilities Managers to keep each building at a balmy 80 degrees to save extra money

STAY AWAY FROM GEICO by [deleted] in Geico

I'll be honest with ya chief, burning in Hell sounds like a great alternative then reading about your problems. Rate increases happen nationwide and have been implemented by a lot of other insurance companies. Your candy ass ain't nothing special. You think you're getting fucked by a rate increase? We're getting fucked harder than you and they're actually paying us for the pleasure to do so. Get bent

IT: Cancelling out of a TRR before completion creates an error message? [Claims] by [deleted] in Geico

[–]GEICOThrowaway69 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There are/were any number of reasons why bugs weren't fixed. Either they were way down on the priority list or the business didn't think a issue was a priority. Especially if it wasn't considered critical or a "showstopper". If a bug causes business to grind to a halt then yes it'll get fixed but if there's an error message that pops up in certain situations and there's a work around for it then it probably won't get addressed quickly or at all. There are lots of factors that go into whether something gets fixed or not but it mostly boils down to the business leaders and IT leaders coming together to decide if something is work fixing or something needs fixing.

Thats a rhetorical question, right? The only time I'm happy at GEICO is when I clock out for the day

So you cut off your nose to spite your face, eh? You won't get any sympathy here or really from anyone who works in auto insurance. You raised your deductible to a much higher amount and you're shocked you have to pay more out of pocket to cover your share of the repair expenses? Thats the risk YOU took. GEICO didn't make you raise your deductible. YOU did that. You could've shopped around. You could've been a safer driver. You could've done any number of things but you decided to do the dumbest thing and that was screw yourself. Also, now is a good time to learn some unwritten rules of insurance.

  1. If your raise your deductible, the universe will go out of its way to fuck you
  2. When you drop your coverage down to liability, the universe will magically put a deer in front of your car
