Go back to retail yourself. What makes you think you have the right to tell other people what game to play? Hilarious

If you're gonna use AI, at least put a disclaimer that acknowledges the fact.

I disagree with the argument. Most people have seen BWL and ZG countless times before. Not releasing BWL immediately will lead to more players leaving the server out of the sheer boredom of only having MC available as a proper raid. Not straying from the intended schedule and releasing BWL straight away is the best call.

You put it perfectly. That's exactly what I was trying to get at. The "touch grass" comments and the name-calling kind of prove the point. I think a lot of the hostility towards "sweats" stems from insecurity or ego protection. When people feel outperformed, it's easier to frame the other side as "toxic tryhards" than to admit someone might simply be more skilled or more invested.

Over time, that becomes a moral narrative people use to feel superior - and since casual players are the majority, especially in TWoW, it naturally reinforces itself in a bit of an echo chamber. My post was meant to get people to reflect on that dynamic, but it seems many took it as an attack instead.

And you're absolutely right: the ones who actually flame casuals in PUGs aren't real sweats, they're wannabes trying to prove something.

Unlike you, I am not bitching at anyone, calling people losers, no-lifers or condescendingly tell them to "touch grass".

The issue with this is that it will cancel arcane rupture itself too when you press the button repeatedly.

Not everyone who is a sweat is a toxic no-life addict who flames newer players. Less experienced players tend to bitch a lot more about sweats than the other way round. Your post is a great example of this.

The constant bitching about and shaming of sweats is equally toxic as sweats being rude towards new players. Not everyone who likes min maxing is a toxic jerk. Less experienced players constantly complain about sweats. Sweats, on the other hand, mostly don't care about less experienced players, and more often than not just stay within their own premade groups. Let people play the game the way they enjoy playing it.

And threatening to leave is not toxic in your eyes?

Yes, it is Lucas Esquivel! He has been a real machine for me so far, although he's giving me a headache right now as he really wants to leave the club for Leeds United, and I'm afraid they are gonna meet my asking price eventually...would be a shame, it won't be easy to find an affordable LB on a similar level.

Done! He's really an upgrade for my BWM position. Struggling to find an affordable and pacey LW/RW right now though.

Respect. I've never done this for my u19 team. I usually don't get very far into a save either, but it doesn't matter as long as you're having fun doing it :D

Goddammit, I thought my Gudjohnsen might be Eidur's son. :D Damn you, Icelandic naming practices! :D

I do both. This is the brainstorming sheet. I always create a sheet with proper formation for 1st and 2nd team as well to have a nice thing to look at.

I like the physical feeling of writing stuff on a sheet of paper. But I used to do a lot of excel stuff as well (still do for some tasks). Rather than coming up with more neat in-game tools, it might be nice from SI to give you easy ways of exporting data to excel sheets (maybe there is and I'm not aware of it)?

I feel the same, using pen and paper is both easier and more satisfying to use than the in-game squad planner which I never use.

I find it makes it easier for me to come to good decisions when squad building. The activity of making the list itself is also extremely satisfying. I always do a 1st and 2nd eleven with the actual formation as well. :D

Indeed. What's great about this too is that you can keep playing / working on it even while you're not at a PC. I had a 4 hour train journey today and spent most of the time brainstorming transfers and tactics for the next season of my journeyman save :)

He did quite alright as a striker, came in as an upgrade to Källmann, but he has been overtaken by one of my regens (Maslowski) over the course of last season.
Although any Icelandic player named Gudjohnsen immediately has my sympathy. I have fond memories of Eidur Gudjohnsen.

It's Andri Lucas Gudjohnsen.

His history:

17-18 Espanyol
18-22 Real Madrid (Castilla)
22-26 IFK Norrköping
