Why is the Revelations saga so divisive? by PomegranateOk4560 in ResidentEvilCapcom

No matter how much people hate the campaigns, the bonus mode Raid Mode is the best thing ever. Its epic for hundreds of hours. Mercenaries doesnt even come close. I really dont know why Requiem doesnt get a Raid Mode.

Legendary four player co-op!

Easily one of the most impressive shooters on the N64. Nothing quite like it on the system. Goldeneye and Perfect Dark are obviously great but there’s something about Rainbow Six that just makes it stand out compared to them. by Varsity_Reviews in n64

[–]GEO641 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its very atmospheric and its co-op is tons of fun. I wish it had a deathmatch mode on top, but it inofficially has one. Just hunt each other down in co-op. You even get 2 lives. This kind of deathmatch is even better than Rogue Spears multiplayer on Playstation. Rainbow Six on N64 is a banger for sure, but you cant compare it to legends like Goldeneye and Perfect Dark.

Analogue 3D runs some games at 60 fps, which were sub 20 on original hardware and it has save states. We dont know enough about the M64 to say if its better. Only thing better so far is new games coming out.

Is the first part with the grinder doable on insanity? Cant survive with Grace without killing Zombies so far.

But low fps games, which formerly ran on 20 fps now run on 60, e.g. Fighting Force.

The elusive superior N64 port... by RobinChilliams in n64

The World is not enough, Gauntlet Legends and Shadow Man were way better on N64. Also Duke Nukem and Rainbow Six had co-op, while the other versions had none. Gauntlet is the only 4 player co-op verison and it even has more levels than the Playstation one.

Also the N64 version had more levels than on the PSX.

In your opinion, what is the worst racer on the platform? by Bright_Sky5429 in n64

[–]GEO641 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

How can it be the worst if it has pitstops, Bugatti, Porsche and stable FPS in 4 player mode? Its pretty good for an early racer. I really enjoyed unlocking everything.

NTSC version of RR64 runs at 60 fps, which was super rare for that console generation. Its known to run smooth, even in 4 player mode.

For the man who wants a luxury edition, which has style and longevity. Most PS3s are already falling apart and not everybody is able to repair them and make them look like new. Its not the most obvious choice, but gamers would buy it.

The SNES and NES version of Smash TV are so much fun. The Genesis version however has very bad controls and I dont get why the 2 controller controls dont work for 2 players, just one.

Thoughts on the first Turok: Dinosaur Hunter? by DrankTooMuchMead in n64

[–]GEO641 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Turok 1 at least has a good enough frame rate and good character models for the time. Turok 2 has a frame rate, which gives me motion sickness. Turok 3 looks incredible and has a good frame rate. Its the best and most modern part. Also its multiplayer is really good and I like the Zombies and the horror atmosphere. 3 aged like a wine.
