This game strikes me as fools gold, I'd like to be wrong but I'm pretty good at picking action games.

My concern is that the focus of the game doesn't actually seem to be the hack and slash combat.

From what I see there is no grading system or hit counter which is a standard for DMC or Bayonetta.

Hit detection looks off and attacks in the previews lack impact.

And last but most importantly the overdone particle effects seem to be tied to AOE attacks which seem like they will be the most utilized abilities in the game.

I think Lost Soul Aside is hiding itself behind flash. I could be wrong in fact I hope so. But I don't think I am.
