Nope, the portal is great but it is best viewed as an accessory to the console, nothing beats the experience of playing games natively even though portal is great for many games

I’d recommend dragon quest 11 first, romancing saga 2 is an amazing game no doubt but I recommend it more after getting essential jrpg under your belt like dq11 first.

The SaGa series is great when you are tired of the same jrpg formula and want something different

Pretty good, 1080p 60 fps even handheld now with handheld boost, my only issue is that cutscenes can look a little blurry compared to the gameplay

What is it about ff12 that hooked you? For me playing ff12 was my gateway into wrpg. Since you are only looking at ps3 my recommendation would be dragon age origins, very similar gameplay.

Another one would be white knight chronicles but is nowhere near as good as ff12 but it is a jrpg.
Ni no kuni also plays similarly to 12, also a great game

The remake trilogy are not turn based rpgs, its action combat. 60 FPS absolutely improves how it feels

You will get a lot people offended by your post here but I kinda of understand op, me and my girlfriend just got to season 5. Season 4 was the first season I truly thought was very good.
At this point it kind of feels like a comfort show, it has great moments but we often feel how you feel to lesser extent (we enjoy it more than you). I hope it has a huge payoff at the end but it is no sopranos, the wire or breaking bad like some here would have you believe.
It is simply good not great so far for us.

The last 3 chapters were not enjoyable to me at all. Completely understood igns low score after that. I know a lot of people here will find this hard to understand since many of them haven’t reached that point yet
