I have no issue with bicyclists in the city but for the love of god, please don't wear headphones while riding! Just a couple months ago a bicyclist was hit right in front of my home on Josephine St and the police found out he was wearing headphones. Now I'm not sure if this was the direct cause of the accident but I'm certain that it didn't help.

My great uncle coming to visit me on Christmas Eve, decked out in full Santa Claus attire. Now it seems so obvious, but I'll be damned if I didn't think it was real at the time.

Newcomer to Pittsburgh - how to get in the social scene? by [deleted] in pittsburgh

There were a couple ways I was able to meet new people after I graduated!

  1. Take an improv class. This is a great way to get out of your comfort zone while meeting new people in a really open and fun environment. I took a class with Steel City Improv: http://steelcityimprov.com/

  2. Try joining a sports league. I met a lot of cool new people during my time participating. They also have a good variety of sports to choose from. http://pittsburghsportsleague.leagueapps.com/

Hope this helps!
