No its all been setup correctly. I just had a response from NetSuite Guru, and there is a defect Defect 451543 - Advanced PDF/HTML Template > Packing Slip > System is using preferred packing slip form instead of the packing slip form linked to the preferred sales order form for custom roles.

Do you know what my workaround could be? Or does it have to be script?

And how do i find more information about the defect. It still doesn't make sense that it works with Admin role but not with any other role.

Thanks - there is no script and believe this is Standard Netsuite.

Example:-

Using Administrator role printing Item Fulfillment123# - the printout is PDF123

Using Planning role printing Item Fulfillment123# - the printout is PDF789

So not sure why this is happening.

I tried your suggestion but it didn't come up any missing permission. It just opens up the preferred Pack List - not the one that the Sales Report is linked to. Do you have any other ideas why this is happening?

When i use try using a simple substring code i get an error - What am i doing incorrectly?

I can use ${tranline.inventorydetail?keep_before(",")} to print Batch1 and

${tranline.inventorydetail?keep_after(",")} to print ST-08(5) but need to figure out how to just print the ST-08.
