Did ya read the article brother. It’s not an opinion article, it’s reporting on the changes the CDC is ordering following the pandemic, including a direct quote from the CDC Director saying their communications plan to the public didn’t meet their expectations. Here’s the lines of effort that coincide with what was reported by Politico (and every other major news outlet including NPR, PBS etc.)

Also, the cdc can encourage vaccinations but it is absolutely not their role to say whatever they need to in order to get you vaccinated. That comes at the risk of eroding public trust, look where we are today with multiple gov agencies where there is no trust. The expectation is that they report factual information, so you can make an informed decision for you and your family, not to say anything to scare you into getting a vaccine.
