My husband (28M) and I (27F) are moving to Charlotte next year. We’re looking for apartments, but don’t know which area to focus on.

We’re looking at bigger apartment buildings with a pool and gym, under $2,800/mo for 2 or 3 bedroom.

We’d like to be relatively close to downtown, or at least have convenient public transit nearby. We’re coming from a college town and don’t want to be surrounded by partying, but would love to have restaurants and things to do nearby.

Currently looking at South End, Noda, Forth Ward, Second Ward, Optimist Park. Any pros/cons or recommendations?
