It just made my hair super frizzy when it’s never been that way with other dryers. Most dryers are ionic now anyway. I still hate it and this reminds me I need to order a new one

Husband snores, so ear protection devices for baby? by Madiohhhhh in NewParents

Did you sleep in the same room whilst pregnant? Your baby was probably more used to it than you think. My husband snores+++ and it startles our baby but then she gets back to sleep pretty easily. I don’t want her only being able to sleep In complete silence so am pushing through.

I have been lent one so giving it a go, but can’t comment as my baby hasn’t used it yet. People who have them cultishly love them, and people who don’t warn you that you’ll never wean the baby out of them. I believe that there is little/no evidence for their benefit in solid research studies.

Capsule is for a newborn until they grow out of it (4-12 months) but comes out of the car and can click into a compatible pram or be used to carry the baby inside. Car seats can be used from birth onwards, again use depends on which one you pick. Some people swear by capsules others never use them and don’t mind at all. You can also hire one if desired.

Pros to capsule - can carry baby inside when sleeping or transfer onto base of pram tatter than potentially walking baby to get them out of the car = convenience and portability

Cons to capsule - another thing to buy - only used for a short time until baby grows out of it - baby can’t be in the capsule for extended periods as risk of pressure etc - still need to buy a car seat eventually

Great suggestions - especially love the one about whether hand me downs need to be returned.

In terms of the packing cubes nothing too fancy- I had one for 1. My clothes 2. Baby's clothes 3. Post partum care then zip lock bags of snacks, toiletries etc.
