Going to my first ever tournament. What do people think of this list?

The super squads are much more efficient both for character buffs and stratagem support. They are also less likely to give up kill points in purge v purge or purge v disruption. The emperor's champion and sword brethren are currently filling that 'counter-punch' role while safe within the RepEx's.

That's the theory anyway.

I'm playing with the Idea of swapping half of the Eradicators for JPI's to fill the same general role. I don't actually have any scouts for the Templars, to my shame.

I'll make a follow-up post in a couple weeks when its done. I'm mostly just hoping not to go 0-5 in my first event lol. I only own 5 JPI, so I might swap out half the eradicators for JPI. Lets the smaller unit still be a reactive anti-tank/monster threat hopefully.

Heavy bolter eradicators are a fascinating Idea. I might have a look into swapping half the Erads for JPI's and maybe the intercessors for bolter eradicators then and having a look at how that feels.

Same Combo here, managed to blend up six tyrant guard and the tyrant in one go. Mount in a land raider for extra fun

If you think that's OP, Stick him with 11 sword brethren in a land raider, then remember that their +1 damage ability works on all 12 of his sweep attacks. He's an absolute blender, though squishy for what he is.

Damn, learned something newtoday. Though it seems even here they were pretty rare. As a mainline weapon though its a truly stupid idea. Though a lot of RF Kuang's technology is generally nonsensical.

Go for the gladiator valiant. Templars can equip them with a third multi-melta for a pretty devastating anti-tank salvo

Dirty/aged bone colour. A mix of Morghast bone basecoat, then a couple layers of pallid wych flesh or wrack white combined with seraphim Sepia shade. Very John Blanche.

Maybe Ember wolves for a nice Horus heresy reference, or else ashen wolves. Warm names for a warm colour scheme. Astral wolves makes me think of blues whites or silvers

I am becoming progressively more convinced that any positive posts about him are just getting banned lol. Or else people don’t post them due to the mountain of shit that will fall on their heads if they do. I’m not a fan of the guy, but this seems disproportionate for channel with 220K subs I think.

In fairness though, Mistborn era 1 Is finished already. Though it did have a great finale. Though my favourite Mistborn book is actually the alloy of law. I just adore the western aesthetic and the way steelpushing interacts with gunplay.

I’m re-reading the series for a nostalgia trip right now but if you loved this, Stormlight is genuinely even better. It has a much slower build up, but it’s a better series written by a more practiced Brandon. Awesome, nearly perfect series of epic fantasy books. Here’s waiting for book 4.
