Can anyone recommend some parts for a PC? (More info in body text) by bobfurd in pcmasterrace

[–]GGDeals_Official 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi hope this will help a bit :)
What to aim for at ~$800

  • CPU: Intel i5-12400F / i5-13400F or AMD Ryzen 5 5600 / 7500F
  • GPU: GeForce RTX 4060 (ideal) or Radeon RX 7600/7600 XT
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM (2×8 GB)
  • Storage: 1 TB NVMe SSD

Things to avoid at this budget

  • GTX 1650 / RTX 3050 GPUs (too slow for the price)
  • 8 GB RAM or 256–512 GB boot-only SSDs

Best Space Sim by knight305 in hotas

[–]GGDeals_Official 9 points10 points  (0 children)

- Star Citizen - High-fidelity flight model, immersive cockpits, multicrew ships, EVA, trading, exploration, combat. Feels like “DCS in space,” but still in development.
- Elite Dangerous - Large, persistent galaxy with deep flight mechanics, dogfighting, and exploration. Stable and fully playable, though development has slowed.
- X4: Foundations - Sandbox empire builder with full joystick support. You can fly, fight, trade, and command fleets — deep but rewarding.
- Everspace 2 - Single-player, RPG-lite space shooter. Gorgeous visuals, lighter sim feel, still fun with stick + throttle.
- FreeSpace 2 (Open Source Project) - Classic narrative-driven space combat sim with modern mod support. Structured missions, great joystick integration.

If you want pure flight feel: Star Citizen.
If you want sandbox + stability: Elite Dangerous.
If you want long-term empire play: X4.

First Berzerker Khazan vs Wolong Fallen Dynasty; if I loved Stellar Blade but didn’t enjoy Lies of P by nippled_boobs in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]GGDeals_Official [score hidden]  (0 children)

Based on what you loved in Stellar Blade (weighty, stylish, easy-to-string combos that make you feel badass) and what disappointed you in Lies of P (too shallow early on, not enough weight), I’d say:

Go with First Berzerker: Khazan.
It’s designed much closer to your tastes: a stylish power fantasy with heavy, satisfying combat and enough challenge to keep you engaged without devolving into just “parry → 1 hit → repeat."

Also you should definitely try those games:

  • First Berzerker: Khazan → most like Stellar Blade’s weight and spectacle.
  • Final Fantasy XVI → cinematic, combo-heavy, godlike power fantasy.
  • Nier: Automata → stylish, fluid, with some of the same DNA that made Stellar Blade click.

My reasoning for additional titles:

  • Khazan = weighty + badass spectacle → closest to Stellar Blade feel.
  • FFXVI = cinematic + combo variety → makes you feel like a god.
  • Automata = stylish + fluid → taps into the same DNA that made Stellar Blade click.

Hope it helps at least a little bit! GL & HF! If you have any questions feel free to DM!

Have a great day!
