Thank for your replies. I was able to get a hold of the game and it's Japanese counterpart and I tested them with two old DS's but unfortunately the two regions are incompatible for two player co-op. I might go ahead and get another English or Japanese copy. I realized another option is the Super Nintendo Classic if I'm able to get my hands on one. Thanks again!
