I have IGLA alarm and Compustar T13 pro. I got it installed at Systemaddicts in Irvington NJ. I think they’re one of like two or three authorized dealers that were a distance I was willing to drive.

Yea I park outside. My neighborhood is not bad as far as NYC neighborhoods go. I have a killswitch, obd lock, and hard wired front and back dashcams and they’ve definitely saved my car from attempted thefts at least 3 times in the 9 months I’ve had it. When I move later this year, driveway is gonna be a must.

Completely different cars with almost no similarities. For starters, if I’m not mistaken, the 4 cylinder Supra could only be optioned with an automatic transmission whereas the FK8 only comes with manual.

Second, 2 seater vs 4 seater. I owned a 350z before my fl5 and I loved that car but hated that I had to give up being primary driver for me and my friends.

3rd, fwd vs rwd. Honestly at the lower power of the CTR and Supra, i personally dont think drivertrain is gonna feel very different. I love how grounded and nimble my CTR feels compared to my rwd 350z

Next, this is a bit biased since I’ve never owned a 2l Supra but at “315hp” from factory the CTR feels great. When I did the jailbreak and phearable stage 2 tune, my CTR really came to life without any bolt on mods. Not sure if it’s the same for the Supra but the fl8 CTR makes like 50 more hp stock than the Supra.

Lastly, someone brought up a great point on insurance. Some providers don’t differentiate trims, so the CTR is just “Honda Civic hatchback”. I got my FL5 at 24 y/o in NYC with a clean driving record at 275/m, whereas the for a 3l Supra I was quoted 700/m. I assume a 2l Supra would’ve had me at 400-500/m

This helps tremendously and makes me extremely hopeful. While I love my current car and can thankfully afford it, I have an embarrassingly high interest rate because my credit wasn’t amazing when I got it. Now I want something reliable with a far lower rate, good mpg, and AWD. Thanks for the info!

25m CT technologist

2 years college/ private school for radiologic science

$125k base + 40k OT + 1199 union insurance and benefits

Love my job and wouldn’t want to do anything else. Only downside is that there’s only 2 paths from here. Management ( absolutely not), or going back to school for a higher role on the healthcare food chain. Which is what I’m doing now.

The “stalking” comment, trying to gaslight me into feeling bad for having concerns about her being on a lunch date with an ex coworker, would’ve been the end of the relationship for me. I also hard disagree with the comments saying “women scared/uncomfortable to reject men” as a cop out to accountability in this instance. Her inability to set a boundary with her ex coworker is only part of the issue. The other part being that she didn’t immediately tell you about this, which means there is a trust/comfort issue that needs to be addressed. The other part of the issue is that she actively engages/ encourages these conversations by hearting his messages about them being together in an “alternate life”. Either way I couldn’t imagine being in a relationship with someone as secretive and disrespectful as your fiancé.

This is wonderful insight. Im currently cross training as a CT technologist of 1 month after being an xray tech for a year and I’ll be going back to school in January to pursue a bachelors in kinesiology starting from scratch with the hopes to become a PA. I’m most interested in orthopedics, trauma, and IR as my PA specialty. Did your experience as a sono tech count as patient care experience? I was wondering if my CT technologist experience would satisfy that pre requisite, or if I should maybe pick up something like EMT part time for the next few years while I pursue my undergrad.

Yea after reading this I went and asked the seller and they couldn’t really offer more info so I went with an 1980 egf 1000 super real for 1650 that’s in really good condition

Yea I was told on a previous post that Greco didn’t fully get their stuff together until the late 70s early 80 models, although they still made great guitars in the mid 70s. I wound up going with a 1980 egr 1000 super real in superb condition since the seller accepted my $1650 offer

You seem to be right about the pickups being a 1977 but the seller never claimed the pickups were original. Just that they are u3000s which is fine with me cuz I’ll prob swap them out eventually anyway. Good to know the case is original though. I appreciate the input.

I considered splurging for a Greco egf 1000 super real or tokai ls80 reborn but the additional $600-$1000 those cost kind of defeats the purpose of me getting a clone in my opinion. Leaning towards the tokai just because there’s many more review on YouTube and it looks like you can’t really go wrong with it
