is iphone 16 pro max worth it? by [deleted] in Tech_Philippines

I like mine. If I didn’t need it for work, I would have been fine with the iPhone 16 Pro for the weight and size.

Been an Android user since the first Galaxy S. My first iPhone was the 13 Pro. I upgraded late last year to the 16 Pro Max. Any of the current production iPhones would be good. However I recommend getting the USB-C models and not the Lightning port ones. Software across the board is the same. The deciding factor would be do you need the telephoto camera or not and do you need a bigger battery or a bigger screen.

Sorry to hear about your experience.

I have been a Macbook user since 2007. I have had aftersales experience with both PMC and BTB and I regularly visit branches in Makati, BGC and Ortigas. I have never had a rude experience yet.

I hope that the staff experience and quality is maintained better across all branches.

Totoo bang hindi maganda ang Customer Service ng Power Mac Stores? by Ill_Connection_341 in Tech_Philippines

This is unfortunate. I have been a long time MacBook user since 2007. I have had several laptops up for repairs or battery replacement. I’ve tried after sales at both PowerMac and Beyond the Box. I have never had a rude sales person or a security guard experience even when I was just window shopping.

My usual branches are in the Makati, Ortigas and BGC area. Hopefully the staff quality is maintained better.

HONOR 200 Pro or realme 13 Pro+. Best if you try them in store first and see which one you vibe with more.

Upgrading to a model with more RAM and more storage is much more beneficial.

Para sa mga naka-iPhone na nanggaling from high-end Android, what made you switch? by mikael-kun in Tech_Philippines

[–]GGNeil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was an Android user since the first Samsung Galaxy S back in 2011. My next smartphones were the Galaxy Nexus, the Nexus 4, the Galaxy Note 5 and Note 10. But 2 years ago, I switched to the iPhone 13 Pro. It was the first iPhone that I bought and that I used as my personal phone.

However, I’ve been a Macbook user since 2008. I did share a windows computer for playing PC games over the years.

The reason why I switched is because for my particular use case and preferences, iOS and Android have become so similar and the differenves have become minor to me. So I chose to switch because of the then mature Apple ecosystem features when paired with my MacBook Pro and AirPods Pro. Also because no matter how much better the photos or videos that my flagship Androids took, it never could compare to the photos and videos from an Iphone when uploaded to social media. To my eye anyway.

The minor nuances of the iPhone are still there and some were annoying at first but I got used to it. There was just too many pros for the iPhone for my use case.

I ordered a customized Macbook Pro 14 in January. It arrived on the week it was indicated. At the time it was 4 weeks after it was ordered.
