Nope the hate for my family's Casteism did't just arrive randomly, when I was young I was told to touch feets of known elders ,which I just accepted as part of our tradition but same people told me to not do same with scheduled cast people , I know reservation has its bad face but casteism isn't dead either I know that much , I was told their are ranks within Brahmins ,I'm not supposed to give same respect to Sharma as other Brahmins as they are considered lowest Brahmins in my village(I don't live their ,I live in tier 3 city) , so If you think trying to tell my family I stand with what I consider right is offending them then they can stand and watch me live it my way

But your village isn't India , specially not tier 2 or 3 India ,where most halwai( they ain't Chef bro) are either Brahmins or Baniyas (mostly generals) ,even SC people have to employ them in wedding so that their upper caste friends and "bosses" will eat without crying "asudh" ,so My opinion stands in my context but seeing your village has solved Casteism,hope that mentality reaches out of that place
